London
London's waterways offer a distinctive perspective on one of the world's great cities - and some of the lesser-known ones are seeing a renaissance, thanks to the arrival of the 2012 Olympic Games.
The mighty River Thames is the location for some of London's most iconic landmarks, including the London Eye, the Houses of Parliament and Tower Bridge.
However, London's waterways have so much more to offer. A stroll by the Regent's Canal can provide a peaceful haven in the middle of the city, and can take you past such sights as Little Venice, Camden Town and all the way to the historic Docklands and Limehouse Basin.
With London set to attract even more visitors during the 2012 Olympics, the waterways are an ideal place to relax and enjoy a new perspective on the city.
