Chasewater was originally created as a canal feeder reservoir in the 18th Century and remains the largest in use in the region today.

Today it's designated a Country Park, with 360 hectares of water and open space ideally suited to lovers of leisure activities.

You can do most watersports here, or take a trail on foot or by bike and do a spot of birdwatching on the way. But if you'd prefer to travel under someone else's steam, then hop on the Chasewater Railway.
