If you already have a merchant account, first sign up to the SecureTrading Payment Gateway. You will also need to inform your merchant bank that you wish to switch your payment server provider to SecureTrading. They will then make your merchant number available to SecureTrading. If you are currently using a Bureau service from another PSP, we recommend you use the SecureTrading Merchant Account Service. |
If you wish to avoid your site being down while switching providers, we recommend that you set up a new merchant account with one of the merchant banks that we work with. This will allow you to keep your existing merchant account with your old provider active while your SecureTrading account is set up. This will enable you to continue to process refunds or deal with any queries relating to your old payment system. |
When you apply for The SecureTrading Payment Gateway you will be given a test account to enable you to start integrating your site using either SecureTrading Payment Pages or the SecureTrading API (also referred to as Xpay). Once this has been successfully completed and we have issued your TID (an identifying number for your SecureTrading account) to your acquiring bank you are ready to go! |
Before applying for the SecureTrading Payment Gateway, please click here to download the agreement. To pay your sign up fee you can either send a cheque made payable to SecureTrading Ltd or call us to pay by credit or debit card. As part of the application process you will need to complete a secure online Direct Debit Mandate, so please have your bank details to hand.
