The RYA Volvo Dinghy Show is a fun-packed event that offers all the materials to improve your sailing - in fact it’s more than just a show.  

Whether you’re top in your class or have just got on board for your first time, this is the show for you. There are free talks and workshops covering first steps through to the latest racing tactics and techniques, equipping you to make the most of your sailing.

Volvo Main Stage

Through out the show there are some fantastic talks going on from some of the top names in the sailing world. From cruising to racing, there is something to please all tastes.

Coaching Area

Come and get hands on in the RYA Coaching Area.  Learn how to get into the exciting world of Windsurfing or how to get that rig setup just right. 

Invictus, C-Class Catamaran

We have the great fortune to be able to have this magnificent machine as one of our main features at the show.  Team Invictus are the UK’s entry into the Little Americas Cup and are hoping to bring the cup back home to the UK in 2013 when the competition will be held on UK waters. As the only wing sail C-Class catamaran in Europe this is a great opportunity to come and have a look at this fantastic catamaran and learn about the developments of the wing sail.    

Cherub Hall of Fame

Come and celebrate 60 years of the Cherub Class and see the development of the Class with boats from each decade since the design was first conceived.  Come and share your memories of the class or find out about how this exciting boat has evolved to the modern racing class we see today.  

Volvo Towing Workshop

Following the success of Volvo’s practical towing workshop last year at the RYA Volvo Dinghy Show the workshop is back once more by popular demand in 2011.   Run by Volvo and the RYA, the clinic offers hands on training for both experienced and inexperienced towers. It’s the perfect opportunity to gain new skills and practical tips from the towing experts. 

Holt Blowboat Challenge

 Design and build a new type of craft and then race it against other competitors in this exciting and highly entertaining boat race.  Using the power of you lungs propel your new craft down the track to victory.  Open to all ages and sailing abilities.
