CKE Restaurants, Inc., is the parent company of the Carl's Jr., Hardee's, Green Burrito, and Red Burrito restaurant chains. Its headquarters are in Carpinteria, California, and was incorporated in 1964 by Carl's Jr. founder Carl Karcher as Carl Karcher Enterprises, Inc.
In 2007, it sold La Salsa fresh mex restaurants to Baja Fresh Mexican Grill. From 1996 to 1999, the company also owned the Rally's drive-up hamburger chain , and it owned Taco Bueno from 1996 until 2001. The company acquired Hardee's in 1997 from Imasco.
The current CEO is Andrew Puzder, who has served as CKE CEO since September 2000.
On February 26, 2010, THL Partners agreed to acquire CKE Restaurants Inc. Ultimately CKE accepted a $693.9 million takeover offer from Apollo Global Management, ending the earlier takeover agreement with THL Partners.
On November 20, 2013, Roark Capital Group agreed to acquire CKE from Apollo for $1.65-$1.75 billion.
As of November 5, 2012, CKE operated 893 domestic restaurants and its franchisees operated 1,937 domestic and 462 international restaurants in the United States and 27 other countries.

The airport is classified as an airport of entry by Nav Canada and is staffed by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA). CBSA officers at this airport can handle general aviation aircraft only, with no more than 15 passengers.
The aerodrome has two piers that can handle several aircraft parked on the water. A ramp allows aircraft to enter water. There are two hangars, the larger hangar belonging to Wilderness North. Floatplanes can be parked for storage in an open area next to the smaller Lakehead Aviation hangar. Two smaller buildings next to the water houses tenants and customs office.
