Christopher P Thomas (born 13 January 1947 in Brentford, Middlesex) is an English record producer who has worked extensively with The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Queen, Procol Harum, Roxy Music, Badfinger, Elton John, Paul McCartney, Pete Townshend, Pulp and The Pretenders. He has also produced breakthrough albums for The Sex Pistols and INXS.
Thomas was classically trained on the violin and piano as a child and he began playing bass in London pop bands, turning down at one point the opportunity to play with Jimi Hendrix and Mitch Mitchell before Hendrix had struck fame. After several years, Thomas decided that he had little interest in making a career as a performing musician. In a 1998 interview, he stated "I realized that being in a band you were dependent on all these other people, and I also knew that if I'd ever been successful in a band, I would've wanted to stay in the studio and just make the records; I wasn't that interested in playing live."

Chris Thomas (born 26 May 1959) was an English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and left-arm slow bowler who played for Hertfordshire. He was born in Billingham, County Durham.
Thomas, who represented Durham in the Minor Counties Championship between 1977 and 1981, before moving to Hertfordshire in 1983, made a single List A appearance for his second team, in 1983, against Cheshire. From the upper-middle order, he scored 11 runs.
Thomas' son, Matthew, has played for Norton in the North East Premier League since 2006.
Thomas' middle son, James, also plays for Norton. He is the opening bowler for the second team and plays for the first team. He is a quick bowler, with his best figures of 6-7 off 7 overs in the 2009/2010 season.
Thomas' third son Nick is also a cricketer, known for his batting and off spin bowling. Nick currently plays for his local college and for Norton, just as his brother had done.

Thomas was born in Perth, Western Australia. He has extensive acting and journalistic experience, working for mainstream newspapers, independent publications and as a freelance. He has also worked in media and public relations and as a radio announcer. He is author of the novel Journo's Diary, the Doctor Who short story One Step Forward, Two Steps Back(published in the collection Short Trips: Defining Patterns and the plays Which One?,Reality Matters,Appetite For Destruction,Who's Your Daddy?,SMS Mess,The Bonza Land of Oz,Pickles and King Bling, published in SMS Mess and other plays.
SMS Mess was described by The Drum Media as a "miniature masterpiece", and was a finalist in Short + Sweeet Brisbane and Melbourne 2009,.Reality Matters was the only Australian entry selected for Blacktown Theatre's 4 Shorts Plus season in 2007.
One Step Forward, Two Step Backs was described by Doctor Who Magazine as "the book's best piece". The Kalgoorlie Miner called Journo's Diary "a great buy for anyone in the media industries in particular but still entertaining enough for those who aren't" with book-blog.com also noting it "will appeal in particular to the younger crowd, and to anyone who's ever worked as a journalist".
