Après avoir stoppé le we).eek-end dernier sa folle chute (6 défaites de rang) en battant Béziers (2-1), Avranches a enchaîné un deuxième succès face à Épinal, concurrent direct pour le maintien. Profitant d'un but contre son camp d'Abdoulaye Diawara (5e) pour prendre l'avantage, les Normands ont appuyé sur l'accélérateur avec deux nouvelles réalisations signées Christopher Mayulu (25e) et Hakim Abdallah (44e). En seconde période, le 10e but de la saison de Mayulu (64e, sp) a mis à l'abri les Avranchinais même si les Vosgiens ont sauvé l'honneur sur un nouveau penalty transformé par Diawara (83e).
