Mission, Texas
Mission is a city in Hidalgo County, Texas. The population was 80,452 in 2012. Mission is part of the McAllen–Edinburg–Mission and Reynosa–McAllen metropolitan areas.
Geography

The racial makeup of the city was 77.63% White, 0.37% African American, 0.38% Native American, 1.63% Asian, 0.01% Pacific Islander, 18.64% from other races, and 2.34% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 81.03% of the population.
