Multichannel marketing

Multichannel marketing is the ability to interact with potential customers on various platforms. In this sense, a channel might be a print ad, a retail location, a website, a promotional event, a products package or even word of mouth.

Multichannel marketing is about choice. The objective of the companies doing the marketing is to make it easy for a consumer to buy from them in whatever way is most appropriate.

To be effective, multichannel marketing needs to be supported by good supply chain management systems, so that the details and prices of goods on offer are consistent across the different channels. It might also be supported by detailed analysis of the return on investment from each different channel, measured in terms of customer response and conversion of sales. The contribution each channel delivers to sales can be assessed via attribution modeling. Some companies target certain channels at different demographic segments of the market or at different socio-economic groups of consumers.

Cross Channel (Japanese: クロスチャンネル, Hepburn: Kurosu Chan'neru, stylized as CROSS†CHANNEL) is an adult visual novel developed by Flying Shine for the Windows and PlayStation 2 platforms. The Windows version was released on September 26, 2003, and the PS2 version (CROSS†CHANNEL ~To all people~) on March 18, 2004. A PlayStation Portable port of the PS2 version was released on February 25, 2010 and a Xbox 360 port with added content (CROSS†CHANNEL ~In memory of all people~) was released on April 14, 2011. An English translation patch to the game was released on August 26, 2009.CROSS†CHANNEL ~For all people~ was released on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita on June 26, 2014, and CROSS†CHANNEL -FINAL COMPLETE- was released on Windows on September 26, 2014.

Story
