Evidence that Susie is of genus Equus - deltarune: chapter 2
I've seen so many people assume that Susie from deltarune is some sort of reptile. While I don't think that's a completely ridiculous stretch of the imagination - especially considering that it is rather difficult to tell what she's actually supposed to be - I don't think it anywhere near solid enough a claim for it to have attained such widespread acceptance. Personally, I believe that there are a number of more likely options; chief among them that Susie is of the genus equus, which primarily consists of horses, donkeys, and mules.
It's not the most watertight theory in the world, but I think there's a lot more to it than the alternatives! And besides, my goal here is not to prove my point undeniably beyond doubt (because I can't convince myself of it undeniably beyond doubt), but to en...

The Truth of Horse Evolution - Part 1
The evolution of the horse is often portrayed as a simple progression from small, 4 and 5-toed browsers to the large, one-toed grazers of the modern-day - but the truth is so much more complex than this.

And besides, my goal here is not to prove my point undeniably beyond doubt (because I can't convince myself of it undeniably beyond doubt), but to encourage people to think about this more, instead of just accepting that "yep, she's obviously a reptile".
Wow, so, thanks for reading this and/or watching the video by the way! I had originally wanted to just do an infographic-style image as u/seventyeight_moose had done, but I quickly realised I had way too much to say to fit it into a single image. I then wanted to write an essay, but sadly realised that no-one would read it because no-one but me has the patience to read an essay on a topic they really don't care about that much. So, in the end, I decided to use the 7-day free trial of Adobe Premiere Pro and make a video essay. Personally, I believe video essays contain about 10% of the information in a given time than I could read in an actual written essay in that same time, but I needed music and flashing lights to keep people's attention. So, I took a crash course in video editing, slapped together some images, and here's the result. It's not good by any means, but I'm proud of it.
By the way, a piece of evidence for Susie's reptilian-ness besides an interpretation of her physical appearance that I've never seen anyone mention but I'm going to bring up (despite it being detrimental to my argument) is that, when TopChef squirts Susie with water, she reportedly "hiss[es]". Apart from that... yeah, I've got nothing.
