Decoding the Gurus is a podcast featuring psychologist Matthew Browne, and anthropologist Chris Kavanagh. It takes a close look at the contemporary crop of 'secular gurus', iconoclasts, and other exiles from the mainstream, delving into their unique insights and galaxy brain takes. Leveraging two of the most diverse accents in modern podcasting, Chris and Matt dig deep into the claims, peek behind the psychological curtains, and try to figure out once and for all... Bill Simmons is a sportswriter, television personality, and podcaster. After many successful years at ESPN as a writer, tv host, and creator (of Grantland & 30 for 30), he signed a lucrative deal to partner with HBO. He currently hosts "The Bill Simmons Podcast", and founded TheRinger.com and Ringer Podcast Network in 2016
His take on the Blair Witch Project Rewatchables, doubting how hard it would be to get lost in the woods is spoken like a man who’s never even sniffed a non-Christmas pine tree. The speed with which you can get disoriented and turned around— and ultimately lost— in the woods is legitimately frightening.

One of the best episodes imo. Redban could get jokes out. Sam and Tony were hilarious. I loved the Heidi moment with that dating thing. Had comedians crush and bomb. It was an amazing episode and really had everything that Kill Tony is about in it!

First I want to thank everyone for the support and advice on my original post. It really helped me to see things clearly and not feel ashamed for the situation I found myself in.
Okay, so it's been one very awkward month to say the least. There were many jokes made by him about how he could no longer have me as well as hints that he was still hoping that I would change my mind. I spent a lot of time in my room with my dogs to pass the time. Once he realized that I wasn't going to change my mind, he quit cleaning up after himself, leading to two more moldy food incidents before moving day arrived.
When moving weekend came, he brought two guys he met at a gas station the day before to come and move his things. I was nervous about this, but really just wanted it all to be over at this point. As of now, I'm sitting in my clean house that I spent all day cleaning, and it feels amazing. My kitchen is mold free and I finally have room to unpack some of my stuff that's been in boxes since June. He does still have some stuff to come pick up, but I have my keys back and my mom is planning on changing the locks soon just in case.
I also got my testing results back and have taken a lot of your advice and not told him anything about them (even though he's asked me multiple times). Turns out, I'm autistic, which honestly puts so much into perspective for me.
So I want to thank you guys again for the support. I'm actually excited again to see what my future holds!

I 34F just yelled at my husband 38M in our front yard for all our nieghbors to hear and then left for some air. We have been married 7 years.
TLDR: I'm tired of handling the logistics of our life and feeling like he doesn't pay attention.
I have been very overwhelmed lately. There have been somethings out of our control and somethings within our control that have happened lately.
Here is just the short list- 1.His doctors office has incorrectly coded a medical bill in January. And he tried to get it changed for 3 months, and then I took over to to try and get it resolved. Ive made progress, but they are hard to deal with. (He will be changing Dr. after this) 2.He changed jobs, and while his annual pay will be 20k more his take home is the same. Which doesn't help us break the cycle of being broke. Due to inflation and medical expenses. 3. With this job change we have had to pay for Cobra for the 2 months it will take for his new insurance to kick in. Which is $3k we didn't expect to spend. Some of this would have been prevetable had he asked question, like I asked him to. 4. My mom is in recovery for her first of her double hip replacement. So I'm trying to be there for her. 5. We've been trying to get life insurance in place for our security. We are once again coming up against his Dr. Office saying they haven't recieved the release forms. Ive been dealing with that for him as well.
Here is where I'm at. I spent the last 5 straight days working to finish a wedding dress. (I'm a tailor.) Ive been at my machine for 12 hrs or more a day for the last 5 days hand sewing lace back on to this dress. My body hurts, I'm tired. The dress is delivered today and its good to go and Ive been paid. I was hoping to go home and be productive...but my body crashed. And I slept for 5 hours...
I woke up to more emails and about the life insurance problem of the hippa release forms. And while this was supposed to be his responsibility. His doctors office closes at 5 so I called and did the legwork of find out next steps. Which was the last thing I planned on doing today. I want to acknowledge now, that I probably shouldn't have done this. It was his issues to deal with but I was already being the "bad guy" with the doctors office, I figured I just deal with it.
The last part to this is I'm a beekeeper as a hobby only, I have 4 hives . But there are specific treatments and steps that need to be done in the fall for the health of my colonies. The chemicals that I'm using require a certain temperature range of between 55 and 85 degrees during the day. Well we finally have at least 10 day of the forcast to be under 85.
My husband offered to help me with the lifting so it would go faster. He gets home at 5pm. Right around the time I wake up from my nap. So I get up and get ready. He already knows the things I need for this process, I've been beekeeping for 3 years. I have a bucket of supplies and cup for water with a lid and straw to prevent bees from falling in. So I ask him while I'm dressing can you get the water ready for going out. So he brings me a regular cup of water. (Mind you he's already in his beesuit) and as he walks away I say "whats that?" He said "you asked for water". I said "right but were about to walk outside, so like it should be in my bucee's cup, like I use every time I'm beekeeping." Im trying to finish dressing and putting my contacts in. (Which aren't cooperating) I raise my voice from the bathroom. "GET OFF YOUR PHONE!" Cause at this point its afer 5pm and we have maybe an hour to be done and closed up so the bees aren't pissed.
As we are walking out I clearly explain my plan of attack and what I have to do. When we arrive at the hives he starts to ask questions about what I just explained. At that moment I realize he wasn't listening the whole time I was talking. I pause and take a breath and realize I'm mad at him for not listening, for offering to help, then not being a present assets to the process. And we are losing daylight by me explaining the whole process again, and I do in a little less detail, and more of what I need from him specifically. He asks me to explain a 3rd time. Im pissed. And I know myself well enough when I'm mad and or tired I make mistakes. And when you make mistakes with bees you get stung. Im done. I rip my gloves off and throw them at him. Throw all the stuff in my supply bucket and walk away saying, "I'm done. "
He follows me and is asking for communication. Tell me what's going on. I scream, "You're not fucking listening! You offer to help then you get on your damn phone and you don't listen." I grabbed my purse from inside. Get in my car, I went and got gas and a soft serve cone and water, and I've been sitting and the lake for 2 hours...
I'm pissed about feeling like I'm the only one handling business with any sense of urgency. When he "handles" anything he forgets to ask important questions and follow up in a reasonable amount of time. We even implemented a family email system with weekly family meetings to manage this stuff going forward, but I'm already so overwhelmed and over taxed with my own job. I lost it. His poor initiative has cost us money more than once, and I'm no longer sure how to handle this. Normally I'm a decently patient person, and I just don't know what to do.
