The game feels pretty good right now?

Am I crazy? Ever since the Dva nerfs and walking back some of the armor changes it feels like the game is actually in a pretty solid state with no particular outliers where something feels stupidly overpowered.

Hanzo getting his one shot back is my only complaint but he’s also pretty dogshit right now so it’s mostly just an irritation rather than a significant balance concern. I guess that’s probably the biggest issue is that there are a handful of non-viable characters right now, but most of those characters are annoying as shit to play into so it’s fine lol

Why does "not top 2" == "bad" in the VCT fanbase

Why does "not top 2" == "bad" in the VCT fanbase

I swear I've seen this only in the VCT fanbase. Other than the top 2 teams in ever IL the rest are called trash. In Majors if youre not top 2 its called a failed run. That just seems dumb to me. In the olympics most countries celebrate even a top 5 finish other than USA and China. In other esports too from the ones I watched eve ln top 5 finish is considered very good. Why is valorant so much more top focused? I've seen takes on PlatChat that LEV apparently had a failed year (despite them ending 1st in their league, making it to 2 internationals and coming top 3 in champs)

Isnt making a THAT competitive circuit just so unsistainable in the long run? For both players and the org? From the orgs perspective you spend a lot of money making roster changes but you come 4th in your league == you had a failure of a year == that entire money you spent is wasted. And from the players perspective its you get a shot in tier 1 == your team gets 4th in their league == you are a bad player == entire roster is exploded.

Just sounds like a bad bussiness decision honestly.

Leaks from Juanirlv on VLR

This guy popped up in the scene recently and I don't know how trust worthy he is, but his stuff has been posted here before and it generated good discussions so I thought I would share the new stuff he said a couple hours ago:

. FURIA is in advanced negotiations to reduce HEAT's buyout, but KRU rejected a trade involving NZR.

. Another target for FURIA is ZAP, who has a low buyout for franchise teams.

. Cauanzin is also a dream for FURIA, but his buyout complicates the deal.

. FURIA contacted Aspas, but he declined, as he doesn’t want to play for any NA teams, preferring to live in APAC, maintaining contact with DRX and Bleed. The only NA team Aspas started talks with is NRG, but it's still early.

. N4RRATE is the new player for Sentinels.
