This past weekend was my (23F) bachelorette party. A few of my friends and I went to Austin and went out on Saturday and got a pontoon boat on Sunday. One of my friends (25F), knows my fiance better than my other friends do and has his number. When we went out Saturday I got tipsy (because it was my bachelorette party) and when we got back to the hotel I called my fiance like I usually do. I also called my brother because I wanted to ask about something a friend had told me about him.

Now it is important to note that I do have the habit of calling my fiance when I drink. However, I do not consider this a bad thing because it is not like I am calling some ex boyfriend or like anything crazy.

The next day after the pontoon boat (which also involved drinking) I called my fiance as we left to let him know that we were leaving, and I was just joking around a bit with him when my friend (the one that knows my fiance better) took my phone away and turned it off. I thought it was a joke and told her to give it back to me and she refused. At this point I got pretty pissed and told her very sternly to “give me my fucking phone back” and took my phone back and got out of the car to cool down a bit. Two of my other friends convinced me to come back to the car.

We made the drive back to our hometown and when I got home my fiance showed me the texts this friend had been sending him. After the first night she texted him “back at the hotel and she is already drunk calling her brother 🤷🏻‍♀️ otherwise all is good”. I want to add that at that point I had already told my fiance we were at the hotel (which she heard me do) and she knows that he has my location. After she took my phone away the second day, she texted him “I’ve shut her phone off and put it in my bag while she’s still a little drunk. I’ll give it back to her in like 30 minutes when she’s not as drunk”.

Reading this just honestly sent me over and I texted her “Hey [fiance] showed me the texts you sent him last night and today and dont you ever talk like that about me again. He doesnt need your condescending little updates.” My other friends think that I took it too far because while the texts are “condescending to a degree there’s also a chance she didn’t mean it like that”. She has not texted me back and I am now afraid I took it too far so AITA?

Edit: I am not an alcoholic. Didn’t think I would have to clarify that but okay. I rarely ever drink and the “craziest” thing I do when I drink is call my fiance to flirt with him. Also, he is not cheating on me. He never texts this friend besides saying happy birthday once a year.

Right now is the perfect time to stop watching the podcast if you think they are not good people. Instead of coming to the sub to complain every week, disguising it as “ holding them accountable”. Why don’t you just stop watching? There’s so many other good podcasts for you to watch.. and there are other people that still enjoy the podcast. This sub has turned into a strictly hate sub and anyone that has a positive opinion gets dragged. And by the way “ holding somebody accountable” on an anonymous Reddit account is not doing anything for you. Find a podcast that you enjoy to watch.

Guess the lines we are so back

Hello! I have a update on my other post but before I get into it I just wanted to thank everybody for the amazing advice. I did end up messaging the girl on instagram. Due to instagrams rule of only being allowed to message someone once before they approve the message request there was little I could say. I explained to the girlfriend that I matched with her boyfriend on tinder and that I later found out he had a girlfriend. After sending the message to the girlfriend I ended up messaging Matt. Basically I confronted him and now thinking about it that might've been a stupid move. I first asked Matt if he had a girlfriend to which he said he did. I then asked him why would he have tinder if he had a girlfriend and he said he had it before they got together which is bullshit because based on the girlfriends post they have been together since May. I told him that snapchatting another girl and inviting her to your room is not something a guy with a girlfriend should be doing, and then I cussed him out for being a cheater which maybe wasn't the most mature thing to do. This brings us to now. The girlfriend just answered me about ten minutes ago. First she said she was at her college orentation so she couldn't talk much but she did thank me for looking out for her, however she said the tinder account is old and was active before they were dating but he doesn't use it anymore. I am torn now because I know that's not true and I have proof it's not but the poor girl is starting her freshman year of college tomorrow and I would hate to ruin that experience for her but I would also hate to see her stay with a cheater. Any advice on that part would be helpful.

As for my roommates. The next day I talked to them and they apologized to me saying they were also drunk and tired the previous night and weren't thinking clearly. They both told me that messaging the girl was the right thing to do and apologized for making me second guess myself.

Posted in another subreddit, and got mixed opinions. Would appreciate some advice.

My wife (30F) and I (30M) have been married for 4 years, and together for 9. We also have 2 children. However, we’ve run into a major hurdle now, and my wife seems extremely sad.

My wife and I visited my parents house last month. It has a pretty big attic which also has a closet. I have a lot of fond childhood memories of the attic, that’s where I spent a lot of time with my ex too. My wife found a diary inside the closet of the attic, it was my personal diary from many years ago. My wife was very excited to read the diary, and I had nothing to hide, so I told her to go ahead.

However, I had completely forgotten what I had written in my diary. For some background, I was deep in love with my ex, we were in a relationship for almost 7 years before she had to move back to her home country of Serbia. When we did breakup, we decided not to reach out to each other ever again because my ex wasn’t sure she’d ever come back to the US, and we both had a lot of strong feelings for each other. The breakup really hurt, and I wrote a lot of my thoughts in my diary. It had all sorts of love letters, my deep feelings for my ex, how I would do anything to be with her again.

A couple of months after I broke up with my ex, I met my wife. She wasn’t a rebound, but she also wasn’t someone I was super serious about because I still wasn’t over my ex. However, after dating my wife for a year, I completely fell in love with her and had all but forgotten about my ex.

The issue is that my wife read all those thoughts on my diary, including the timeline, as every entry had a date on top of it. My wife seems very sad now. She thinks she was a rebound for my ex, which I completely disagree with, I have reassured my wife I love her, and that what we did when we’re in college shouldn’t be taken seriously. 

I am very worried now because we have a stable life, I love my wife and our children, but my wife just seems a complete shell of herself since reading the diary entries. I have reassured her many times, I’ve taken her out to eat in fancy places, I’ve written her love letters, but she still doesn’t seem over it. I am worried this minor thing can end our marriage. AITAH?

MiiMii hat ein neues veröffentlicht. Nach dem er bei X relativ lange still war (letzter Post war am 30.05), kam bei im Laufe des Tages die , dass er sein Internet wiedergefunden hat.
Ich bin erst bei ~15min, aber was da alles so am Rande gedropped und "bewiesen" wird. Das wirkt so als wenn MiiMii den kompletten Traffic von Apo überwacht. Aber ich bin auch nicht soo krass in der Thematik daher war fast alles für mich neu, bzw. kannte ich nur die Vermutungen.

• offener Haftbefehl seit Anfang 2023

• 2 Kinder 1 und 4 Jahre alt und das jüngere hat er kurz vorm ersten Geburtstag verlassen und hüpft seit dem zwischen Dubai und Istanbul hin und her. Während er irgendwelche Frauen aufreist.

• eine Bildanalyse warum das Büro von Apo sehr wohl Ferhat Dogan gehört

• eine Bildanalyse wo Apo mit der G-Klasse langgedüst ist

• ein haufen Insta "sternchen" (u.a. Apo, die anderen kenn ich nicht) teilen sich scheinbar ein AirBnB und hüpfen da von Wohnung zu Wohnung

Und was ich am verrücktesten und gleichzeitig aber auch am (bisher) interessantesten fand, MiiMii meint über Kontakte kontakt zur Polizei in Dubai zu haben. Darüber hat er herausbekommen wem die G-Klasse gehört und das ist ein in Deutschland seit Jahren bekannter Wirtschaftskrimineller (Ralf Jung). Dieser ist gleichzeitig auch der Arbeitgeber von Ferhat und betreibt eine dubiose Agentur zur Planung und Finanzierung von Projekten. Der Typ saß in DE Jahre im Knast. Da haben sich Apo und/oder Ferhat aber einen ganz sicheren Arbeitgeber ausgesucht.

Wenn da noch was spannendes kommt reiche ich das nach, aber die ersten Minuten war quasi Fakt an Fakt, mit irgendwelchen Dokumenten. Also MiiMii scheint echt überall Kontakte zu haben, wenn er selbst die Polizei in Dubai anzapfen kann.

Also der Rest danach war eher so semi interessant. Irgendein Cemil_179 dem Apo die Zeche fürs AirBnB in Istanbul geprellt hat. Dann Tausend Instastory Vergleiche, dass irgendwelche Leute immer zur selben Zeit im selben AirBnB waren, oder im selben Auto saßen. Dazwischen dann random Rechnungen von Vodafon an Apo.
Nur zuletzt die Story vom Thomas war noch mal annähernd interessant. Dass Apo da in Istanbul chillt und auf "dumme" deutsche Touristen wartet, die ihn "durchfüttern".

Alles in allem: die ersten 15min plus die Story vom Thomas am Ende hätten schon ausgereicht. Diese ganzen Story vergleiche noch als Beweis hintendran und vorher "jetzt noch ein paar Beweise, dass das nicht alles Apos Wohnungen sind."
So laufen da gefühlt 30min random Stories, von irgendwelchen möchtegern rich kids, die sich mit 10 Leuten ein AirBnB teilen.
