The 2021-2024 VCT seasons were just the prologue. The real VCT script starts now.

Think about how scripty the script is scripting for the upcoming season.

  • Former star players are perfectly set up for a comeback season (yay and Demon1)

  • SEN, the most clouted org, has returned to being contenders again after being shit for a few years

  • Every single region now has a trophy, meaning there's complete regional parity in the league now

  • We're setting up for the biggest offseason ever with most star players entering free agency

  • Older fan favorites are retiring or in speculation (Sacy, Laz)

  • C9 is still re-signing old players

Idk who the VCT script writers are, but they are cooking

The last round of Map 4 Bind in the EDward Gaming vs Team Heretics match might just be one of the most amazing rounds I've ever watched.

The last round of Map 4 Bind in the EDward Gaming vs Team Heretics match might just be one of the most amazing rounds I've ever watched.

The round in context: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=coBQIT3hnCU (with reactions)

Now, there were plenty of great moments in the entire series i.e. S1mon's 1v2 on Lotus, KK's guardian 4k on Abyss. But this last round on Map 4 lives rent free in my head. The way the entire round played out and how it ended up felt like it was straight out of a movie.

To name a few things about this round:

  • Map point for Heretics to take the series to a map 5.

  • EDG on the verge of a hard-fought comeback down 8-12 to take it to overtime.

  • Just 2 rounds ago, the post plant scenario was the exact same, only it resulted in an EDG spike defuse due to the smart molly block, but this time it didn't happen.

  • EDG executing an almost impossible retake (4v5 post plant against viper ult and molly setups) off the back of KK's ace.

  • How poetic and cinematic that last shot of KK is staring at his teammate's desperate attempts to defuse the bomb in the flames after he had just aced Team Heretics.

So many narratives and stakes went into what I believe to be one of the most iconic rounds in VCT history ever.

New MCC: Twitch Rivals 3 Participant

I don't have a clip, but Tango just announced on his stream that he is playing in Twitch Rivals! (I will update this with a clip when I get home in a few hours)

Edit: Probably going to have to screen record Tango announcing this, as he has clips disabled on his Twitch channel, so expect a lower quality clip if that's the case.
