Jordan Abbott is Chief Privacy Officer of Acxiom. Prior to serving in his current role, Abbott was an information privacy attorney for the company.

Abbott advises key stakeholders on legal, data governance and compliance policy as well as handling government relations, where he provides strategic insight on proposed legislation at the state and federal levels.

In his time at Acxiom, Abbott has made significant contributions to Acxiom’s approach to data governance and industry leadership in ethical data use. He has been instrumental in guiding the organization through the continued implementation and evaluation of GDPR regulations and is responsible for coordinating the Privacy Shield compliance for international data transfers. Additionally, he has been a highly regarded expert and advocate for federal consumer privacy legislation and is leading all strategic preparations for the California Consumer Privacy Act before it goes into effect in January 2020.

Prior to joining Acxiom, Abbott was in private practice from 1998 to 2001. Previously, he served as an Assistant Attorney General of Arkansas in the Consumer Protection Division from 1991 to 1998. As a result of his service in the office, the Abbott Award for Outstanding Service was named in his honor.

Abbott is well-credentialed in the data privacy field, holding certifications from the International Association of Privacy Professionals, being a certified privacy professional for the U.S. and Europe, and being certified in privacy program management. He previously served as President of the Coalition for Sensible Record Access and currently sits on the DMA Data Ethics Operating Committee. Prior to Magnite, Rachel was chief privacy officer at Wunderman Thompson, a WPP agency. She has 15 years’ experience in digital marketing where she began her career managing media campaigns across a variety of clients and verticals. Nicholas Godlove is an attorney who specializes in privacy, cybersecurity, and AI applications. Michael Hahn is Executive Vice President & General Counsel at IAB and IAB Tech Lab. Michael has responsibility for all legal matters, including the direction of legal strategy, privacy compliance, antitrust compliance, intellectual property rights issues, and general corporate matters. Michael is also responsible for serving as an advocate for the digital advertising industry on common legal issues affecting member companies.

Michael joined IAB and IAB Tech Lab from Lowenstein Sandler LLP where he served as Vice Chair of the firm’s Antitrust Practice Group. Linna Hsii is a Senior Privacy Counsel with Snowflake Inc., a cloud data warehousing solution built on top of AWS, Azure and GCP. At Snowflake, Linna leads privacy and security negotiations for customer deals, provides privacy-focused guidance for internal businesses across various functions and manages the vendor privacy support process, amongst other things. Prior to Snowflake, Linna was an in-house counsel with the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Number (ICANN) where she helped built and operationalize ICANN’s global privacy program to help meet the requirements under various data protection regulations, including the GDPR.
