Hey all, been having an issue with my orbiter v2 filament sensor. It will detect filament and load correctly but on runout while printing it won't pause and will say Printing! Can't unload filament right now! I have this same sensor on another printer, they run the same board and are wired the same. Any ideas? The only thing I haven't checked is wiring but I figured since it will detect and load filament it should be okay.
Well, from the looks of it, nobody is responding to post on this thread but I'll give it a shot. I'm in now way a newb, I've been printing for years. bed slingers and delta. but now I just have one printer and its a flsun SR. I've printed on it for months with straight up marlin on its Robin_mini_V3.1 board. no problem. Now I decided to buy a Creaility sonic pad and use klipper to speed it up. But I can not figure out the z_offseet. Its blowing my mind! I can set the z_offset over and over and its never right? I'm not an idiot, I'm actually a computer engineer. I'm a data storage engineer, but I know enough that can can read simple code. When I run the macro on Klipper to probe calibrate. and it does its auto calibrate , then it wants you to do the manual "paper test", I do that but it doesn't work , and its like 2mm over the deck. I've read somewhere that Klipper comments out your z_offset in the config file and re-writes it at that bottom of the config file but that is not happing. When I look at the bottom of the config file there is a "z_offset" setting but its "greyed" out also? and its not the setting i see after doing the probe ? ANY Help? I don't understand how Klipper is handling these probes and updating files etc. What are all these backup file about? these .bkp files are piling up, but are the used?
