My boyfriend and I have been together for almost 3 years. In those 3 years he has written out my full name on love letters and birthday/Christmas cards. I don’t think this is identifying information, so I’ll just add the name for context. My middle name is Jolene, but for the past two weeks he has slipped up and called me Rose.
I feel weird about it for a couple reasons. Every time it has happened, it has been while he’s telling me sweet nothings. Telling me he wants to be with me forever, and that I’m the love of his life. Then at the very end drops that. (First name) Rose. After it happened the first time, I was like “who’s that because you’re not talking about me.” And he IMMEDIATELY came up with 5 unrelated excuses before admitting he was tired and embarrassed. I feel like someone he has known intimately has that name, but he won’t fess up. Why else would the same name come up?
Am I overreacting or is it super weird that has gotten my full name correct all 3 years and is suddenly slipping up? I guess I should add that he spelt my first name wrong last week too, which has never happened before. Blamed it on spell check. Help me out before I cause a ruckus 😭

I rewatched episode 665 which was Drew's first 4 or 5 appearances. I get that some people don't find him funny and I get that he can be hard to understand. Personally I see it a little different - the guy got beat up to the point of brain damage in the military. Life since clearly hasn't been easy but he genuinely seems like hes trying to make the best of it. I don't think Tony put him on the show because he's the funniest guy on the planet, I think Tony can see how much it means to him. It gives him another purpose, something to look forward to for a guy who probably doesn't have the easiest life anymore. I don't know, I don't think he is the funniest guy ever, but his energy is great, and the crowd really seems to respond well to him. I say let him be, watch him or don't, but let the guy enjoy himself, some of the stuff I see said about him is ridiculous.

Watching people defend Brooke and/or demand that people move on already and stop bringing up the past is quite literally... the epitome of the POC experience.
To be told that you must accept the idea that someone else had to "educate" and "grow" their way into acknowledging your own humanity is so exhausting and wild.
How dare anyone, honestly, find it within themselves to explain that "hey, some people are just taught to spit on others in disgust - but eventually they saw the light" and think that the spat on have to ever be ok with that?? Insane. Hurtful, and insane.
I don't have the answer, as a POC, as to how a white racist redeems themselves. If people choose to forgive you, more power to them and good for you I guess. But if people don't, and you get de-platformed and publicly shamed, well yeah... that's the consequence of your actions. The scorned owe you no sympathy. And yet, throughout history it's always been given.

Everything about Emergency Intercom starring Enya Umanzor & Drew Phillips
I can tell who in here is like 13 watching drew and ENYA because u mfs are seriously the unfunniest people I have ever encountered. You guys try to recreate Drew and Enyas humor but fail miserably and just sound annoying. I had to get this off my chest
