The Fast 100 and Fast Starters List for 2024 is presented in association with Pemba Capital Partners and Ord Minnett.

The Fast Lists include the “Fast 100” list and “Fast Starters” list and are the authoritative voice on the fastest growing companies in Australia. There will also be a number of industry-based special awards and an award for the entrant on each list with the highest nominal growth.

The Fast 100 List recognises the fastest growing large, established companies. To be eligible for this List, your company must have:

  • Recorded revenue of minimum $10,000 in FY22
  • Recorded revenue of minimum $5m in FY24
  • Started trading before July 1, 2019

The Fast Starters List recognises the fastest growing, young companies. To be eligible for this List, your company must have:

  • Recorded revenue of minimum $10,000 in FY22
  • Recorded revenue of minimum $0.5m in FY24
  • Started trading after July 1, 2019

ENTRY GUIDELINES

  • Entrants must be Australian based companies.
  • Entrants must not be a subsidiary of a multinational corporation or a larger Australian entity.
  • The majority of revenue must be generated organically. Entrants must not be companies which act predominantly as traders or fund-operators or in other highly cyclical businesses.
  • Entrants must have more than one main customer.
  • The majority of revenue must not be from government grants or other start-up funding.
  • Entrants must provide third-party verification of revenue from an external accountant or auditor.

When is the entry period?
Entries open 9:00AM AEST July 11, 2024 and close 5:00PM AEST September 17, 2024.

Do I need to select whether my company enters the Fast 100 or Fast Starters List?
Yes – on the submission form, please select whether you would like to enter the Fast 100 or Fast Starters list. You will be asked to confirm that your company meets the eligibility criteria.

What information do I need to provide to enter?
You will need to provide revenue figures for FY22, FY23 and FY24, as well as third-party verification of revenue from an external accountant or auditor. Feel free to share this verification letter template with your external accountant or auditor.

Should I include international revenue in the revenue figures?
Yes, as long as your company is based in Australia, please include any revenue generated overseas into your total revenue figures

Will I have the opportunity to promote my company if I feature in either the Fast 100 or Fast Starters list this year?
Yes! All companies featured in the Fast 100 or Fast Starters Lists will have the opportunity to purchase The Fast Logo Marketing Kit. The kit includes a wide range of marketing assets and advertising offers to help you promote your company’s success in internal and external communications.

What is the methodology used to rank companies for the Fast 100 and Fast Starters Lists?
Both Fast 100 and Fast Starters will be ranked according to their Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) from the last three financial years (i.e. FY22, FY23, FY24).

When will I be notified if my company has featured in either the Fast 100 or Fast Starters List?
If your company has ranked on either list, we will reach out to you before the list is published to let you know.

When will the Fast 100 and Fast Starters Lists be published? 
Both the Fast 100 and Fast Starters will be published in The Australian Financial Review on Wednesday November 27, 2024.

How will my entry be used?
The information you provide in your entry will be used to inform the Fast 100 and Fast Starters Lists, to be published in The Australian Financial Review. Please note that The Australian Financial Review may also publish any of the information submitted within the entry form at our discretion.
