What’s the worst/most unfair criticism you’ve heard a reviewer make about a game?

NOTE- this does not include stupid criticism from obvious shitposting trolls

I’ll go first:

While I (and many others) have criticisms about The Last of Us Part II, the worst knock I’ve heard a reviewer make on it was “they didn’t get a choice” on how the plot unfolded.

You know what other game you “didn’t get a choice” on how the plot unfolded? TLOU1. But I didn’t see you criticizing it this way then. The double standard is laughably bad.

TLOU isn’t a role-playing game like Baldurs Gate 3 where you are the primary catalyst of how the story unfolds. You’re mostly a passive observer.

You’re criticizing the game by a standard that the game isn’t trying to achieve. If you didn’t like the story, fair enough. But just say so instead of making up unfair criticisms. Ridiculous.
