A 110-year-old Toorak mansion – one of the first homes in Melbourne to be built in the California bungalow style that subsequently spread across the suburbs – is on the market for the first in almost 70 years.

Known as Ballara, the two-storey home on a 2117 sq m block at the top of Lansell Road, has been listed for sale by Grace Davey-Milne with a price guide of $17.5 million to $18.5 million.
