A very important reminder that i hope people will spread around because a lot of comments i've seen on the Sunday thread, tiktok & twitter are calling blood on Hoyoverse for "not responding" and "hiring these without background check".

As the title says, Hoyoverse themselves do not hire nor bother with voice actors. They sign a contract with a voice agency, which then manages the casting call, auditioning, shortlisting candidates, scheduling recording sessions, and logistical coordination. This doesn't have necessarily to be a single studio either. That studio is contractually responsible for everything VA related, including the background checks. This is to ensure that the game studio can focus on creative oversight and integration of the voice work into the game.
People seem also surprised Hoyoverse hasn't responded to the issue in a hot minute, need i remind not only is this the weekend but this is one of the 20 biggest grossing private company in the world? They have hundred of layers of management and paperwork to go through before statements and decisions can be approved & made. Now i see the "Neuvilette bug fix" coming my way, but let's be real that one was a severe class action lawsuit in the making, much more threatening to a company.
I'm dissapointed that after the Tighnari & Paimon VA issues i linked above were handled so professionally, a lot of people seem to have no qualms directly threatening Hoyo before they had a chance to make a move as a company. If this was like week 2 after the drama and Moze was still releasing as such i would understand and definitely critic Hoyoverse for not taking responsibility, but perhaps let's have some common sense and not put innocent employees under fire for something they have no say in.

This is Kyle Allen Music. I don't use reddit and am making this post on a default account to give some insight to how how toxic freddit is. A couple days ago when I was stuck driving on a road trip, my comment section was raided with doxing threats, death threats and being cancelled. Some 14 year old kid that blindly believed a rumor (constantly proven false lie from 9 years ago) just decided to spam every fandom I was associated with on reddit with these awful allegations. Even now, after I had to humiliatingly make a video once again proving my innocence, people see the deleted threads title and still believe it. This past week the drama has destroyed my wife and I and we were admitted to the psychiatric hospital against our will. I've always loved the FNAF fandom since 2014 as it has been a comfort game since I was in high school. Seeing everyone turn on me so quickly without doing their research though made me wonder if it's even worth the energy anymore. I've reached out to the moderators and reddit support to permanently delete the post (since the OP backpedaled by deleting it and leaving social media) and hopefully my life can return normal.

Hey everyone. It has been a rough weekend for everyone with the recent drama involving Chris Niosi, Moze's EN VA and Griffin Puatu, Sunday's EN VA. However I want to make this post just to give a very important and friendly message to everyone:
Please separate the characters from the VAs!
What this means is, you can still enjoy your favourite characters regardless of our view of the VA's recent behaviour. They're fictional characters after all, and I'm pretty sure even if they're real they absolutely do not condone the actions done by said VAs they are being voiced by.
This should become the norm and we should make this a common practice amongst all in this subreddit, like what we did with Tighnari and his old VA.
