I don't think an animal dying is neccecarily a sad thing, animals die in nature all the time. Animals suffering however is horrible, unnatural and it is continuos for days and days. So for example, a meat eater getting their beef from a farm that has the cows well kept, letting them roam outside daily and have a clean pen and being fed proper food above what they eat while roaming and is killed in a humane painless fashion is much better than eating an egg from a chicken living in a small cage that won't even let it turn around and having to suffer its whole life.

Veganism: A philosophy and way of living which seeks to exclude—as far as is possible and practicable—all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing or any other purpose; and by extension, promotes the development and use of animal-free alternatives for the benefit of animals, humans and the environment. In dietary terms it denotes the practice of dispensing with all products derived wholly or partly from animals.

I just heard a news report about a woman who tried to PET AN ALLIGATOR and was killed. Game officials went on to kill it after the incident. Why? The alligator was doing it’s job. Same thing with Harambe. If you can’t watch your kid at a freakin zoo, or you’re 58 years old and think it’s ok to pet a wild animal, you had what’s coming to you.

Your emotional support animal is NOT a service animal and should not get the same privileges that real service animals get

Your emotional support animal is NOT a service animal and should not get the same privileges that real service animals get

I work the door at a walmart, and up until recently, we havent been able to say anything to anyone about having their pet with them unless it was in the cart (for sanitary reasons.) But recently we have a new policy and only service animals are allowed and we can only ask if the animal is a service animal or not. On the sign we have out front it clearly states that emotional support animals are not allowed as they arent service animals. Had a lady come in with a dog in the seat of the cart that didnt have a vest on, nor did the lady have the documentation for the animal, (not that I asked, since we cant ask for documentation.)

When I asked her if the dog was a service animal, she replied "No, he is my emotional support animal." I calmly let her know about the new policy, and how she cant have the dog in the cart regardless. She starts going off on me for discrimination, and I wait for her to be done talking and walk her over to the sign and point out where it says that she cant have an emotional support animal. She is still going off on me. So I call a manager on my radio and let then deal with it. The whole thing ends with the lady taking a deli sandwhich and basically tearing the thing apart inside the packaging then opening it up and dumping it on the floor, then she stomps on the small package of mayo and it sprays on the floor.

It's crazy the amount of stuff people think they can get away with just cause they have a "support animal" You still have to follow the same rules as anybody else, and chances are, that isint even a registered support animal anyway, you just cant go 30 seconds without fido. Leave the damn dog at home.

I called animal rescue because my friend abuses her animals

My friend Emma and her partner Grace have about 15 pets in their tiny home- it’s like Noah’s Ark but on steroids. No garden and they have about 4 of every domestic animal and a few farm animals. Just all crammed together. They have officially made their “animal charity” into a company of their own. I once went to their house and it was in really bad conditions. No toys, all the animals looked bored and hated each other. Floor was covered in poo stains. What's even more concerning is that these guys are asking for donations at festivals, schools and events, to fund more of their fake animal charity. I don’t think they know what they are doing is so harmful to the animals.

I saw enough and right after that day, I ended my friendship with Emma mentally. I didn’t talk to her and her girlfriend about it cos I have no clue what I would tell her. I rang up animal rescue. The rescue centre said cos I didn’t see them get physically abused or see any marks or scratches on them, they can’t help. That’s it. Useless. I can’t grab video evidence and visit their home sadly as they live so far away. The situation worsens with more animals taken in. People donating think they have a real farm from their website, but it's all a facade. Was I right to call animal rescue? What else can I do to help these animals?

Edit: I reported this to a very famous animal rescue centre and claimed there was neglect , poor living conditions and hoarding. Also I found out that very recently on their social media, that another local animal welfare charity are donating MORE animals for them to keep and “look after”.

UPDATE: I called the animal rescue centre again and they said they don’t have enough officers to help out with it and investigate as it’s not serious enough :/ I called non emergency police and they said that they don’t help with animal neglect or hoarding and it’s down to the rescue centres to help. So now I’m completely stuck.

UPDATE 2: I’m thinking about outing and spreading this scam charity over social media 📢 I’ve got to get those animals out of there. If you have any ideas, legal advice, media tips of how I can get coverage and attention to these animal rescue centres , I’d be so grateful.
