Just bought this game with my sons. Put some hours in. My youngest son wanted to join the game while we were playing, and I thought the game stated we’d lose all progress if he joins. I told him to click yeah, cause it’s whatever we’ll just restart the level.
The bloody game reset his character to zero. All perks. All stats. Gone.
Like, I’m sure if i read it thoroughly I would have understood, but why IN THE FUCK is that even a fucking option WHEN YOURE JUST TRYING TO JOIN THE GAME?!!! That’s like the fucking eject button in your car! The self destruct button on your computer!

So we've been asked to participate in an IAmA, and since some of us are lurkers on here, figured it would be a good opportunity to talk to the Reddit community, and answer any of your questions. I'll try my best (this is Emil btw) to relay any questions to Dan Paladin, Tom Fulp, and any other staff you have questions for.
I can tell you that we don't currently have a release date for BattleBlock Theater, so if that's one of your questions I can save you some time now. Also no plans for Castle Crashers 2 either. (we get asked this a lot)
Outside of those two things, feel free to ask whatever and I'll do my best to answer back. If you're unsure what to ask or anything check our FAQ () to see what is generally asked.
The #1 reason we still exist as a company after all these years is because of the commitment of our fans. Without you guys we would be cold and hungry on the street, or more likely working somewhere else and not making games, but you get the point.
Oh yeah, I guess we need some proof of our existence --
