Duop Reath
Duop Reath is 28 years old 6'11 and shot 36% from 3 last year on 3.6 attempts (10 attempts per 100). he's on a 2 year $2M contract with the blazers. The blazers now have ayton, clingan, and time lord on the roster.
He had a -7.1 net rating vs the blazers -9.0 net rating. so the blazers did better when he was on the floor. He was the 4th best net rating on the team that played actual minutes behind brogdon, camara, and kris murray.
We would get his Bird Rights
Highlights:
How we get him.
We pick up David Roddy's contract and trade him along with our 2 2nd round picks for Reath. While we are all low on Roddy he's is still 23 vs reath being 28 and their team is focused on development of youth together while they also get 2 2nd round picks for a guy who will not play or will play very little with their big man rotation this year.
We could also send Nas Little back to the blazers instead of Roddy. We cut the one we don't trade and sign a PG
Simone Fontecchio
Simone Fontecchio shot 42.6% from 3 with the pisons last season and 40.1% for the year. with a eFG% of 58.3% and a TS% of 61.3%. to put that in perspective beal had a career high efficiency last year shooting 43% from 3 with an eFG% of 58.2% and a TS% of 60.7. fontecchio is 6'8 and that shooting wing the front office says they are looking for. beal averaged 18.2 points on 13.9 shots while fontecchio averaged 15.4 with Detroit on 11.9 shots. he only took 7.2 FGA per game while with the jazz last year.
Simone Fontecchio had a net rating of -3.9 vs detroits -9.0 net rating. that was the best net rating on the team among players who played at least 450 minutes. with the Jazz Simone had a -.5 net rating vs the jazz having a -5.1 net rating. only Markkanen and Dunn had better net ratings on the team among players with real minutes.
We would also get his Bird Rights.
Highlights:
How would we get him
Okogie and the 2031 1st for Fontecchio. Pistons going full tank and get a potentially really valuable future 1st.
How the Roster hopefully look come playoff time
Book, Beal, Dunn, KD, Nurk
Morris, Allen, Oneal, Fontecchio, Reath
PG (maybe Payne or fultz), Lee Bol Bol, oso Plumlee
The only chance this roster has at truly competing is making KD a true SF. We need to protect him on defense / improving rebounding.
The only player that gives us that is Dunn. We need to let him grow this season, and the only way that happens is via heavy minutes. He is the only chance this roster has at outperforming.
I know it’s not gonna happen but just curious
We get our first look at some of our highly anticipated rookies tonight!
Go Suns!

Realistically, who's the most likely candidate for starting PG next year?
I can't find any info about it. It seems that he isn't at their training camp.
