So many whiners here saying the same thing over and over. Such as but hardly limited to:

"Claire is a manic pixie dream girl. She is not a realistic doctor because I am an expert on doctors. Also she is one dimensional but not the one dimension I wanted."

"Syd and Carmy romance."

"I didn't understand a blatantly obvious thing in the show that I could either rewatch or google."

"I don't like Marcus."

"I like Marcus."

"I don't like the Faks."

"I like the Faks."

"I don't like the new season."

Good lord. Adios.

Shoutout to Season 3 for having…..

The most realistic depiction of labor I’ve ever seen on TV!

A huge pet peeve of mine is watching women go into labor on TV and in movies. Their water breaks and everything is immediately at 100 and the baby is about to crown after ten minutes.

Ice Chips was masterful for many reasons but I so appreciated the realism. Labor really is like that — long periods of nothing and then sixty seconds of going OW OW OW FUCK

My husband even said that it gave him flashbacks to the births of our kids. I also did the same thing as Natalie and immediately changed my mind about an epidural as the pain ramped up.

Small potatoes in the grand scheme of the episode, but appreciated all the same.

Donna Berzatto hits home

So I have a mother that suffers strongly from a mental illness and I have to say that Jamie Lee Curtis's portrayal of Donna Berzatto (while somewhat triggering lol) is amazing work. She's able to play Donna as unstable, egocentric yet deeply vulnerable at the same time. It also helps having Abby Elliot capturing the helpless feeling of being a child wanting to somehow fix a parent struggling with something that is in some ways unfixable. Just great job all around with how the show portrays the nuances of mental struggles.
