In an effort to improve the sub I've created this stickied thread with useful links with some spreadsheets and lists of well known clones and their designer / niche counterparts.

These current lists are likely not fully up-to-date, so if you have a list of your own or would like to contribute in some way, please do.

Hi everyone - Just checking in as the sub has grown massively over the last few months (hovering around 94k subs).

If you have any recommendations to improve the sub, please comment below.

We've managed to cut down on the bulk of the legit checks of fake bottles etc using filters and prevention of low karma users creating posts, however some still fall through the cracks. If you see a legit check / fake check, please do report it and we'll have it taken down as quick as possible.

It's pretty clear that most people can't read the rules when it comes to their post titles or content:

• Include the name of the fragrance you are searching for or reviewing in the title.

• If you're posting a picture of a recent pickup, include an actual review as well. Posts without a review or single sentence saying 'this is nice' will be removed.

• If you post a collection photo, be prepared to answer questions and provide feedback - posts for karma farming will be removed.

• Posts using AI generated images / 'what would you wear in this location' will be removed.

• Posts of fragrantica wardrobes are low effort and will be removed.

Going forward we might try out a monthly discussion thread focusing on a particular house, brand or clone company as a means to create a more open conversation.
