Even if Saadhaak retires after this year, he will be Top 5 IGLs of all time regardless

I was just watching the Boaster documentary by Nick Bravado and getting to the LOCK//IN Finals segment just made me think about how much Saadhaak has done with so little. People constantly praise guys like mCe, Potter, and even Mini for scouting absolute demons from the most random places. But we rarely give Saadhaak his flowers for putting together a team of young guns after his championship winning roster fell apart and still managing to make it to the finals of the FIRST major event.

He had 3 months to rearrange a brand new team (after losing his main initiator and controller) and whip them into shape and start creating chemistry. And in those 3 months he created a team that not only faced some tough competition (DRX, NRG, Arguably KC and GENG but... uhh yeah) they did so without dropping a map before encountering NRG.

And now here comes the part that baffles me. Not only does Saadhaak have to lead this young team into a match with a lot of pressure, especially since you're on home turf (that's like inviting your GF to watch you play and then going triple negative), but they're going against a team of players that has been around the scene since its inception (Boaster is one of the longest active players on any team) he has to contend with the fact that these guys just came off an absolute heater. FNC didnt drop a single map all the way to finals.

And if that doesn't convince you yet. He has to rally a team that has just lost 2 maps in a row in convincing fashion. Ascent and Fracture were lost by LOUD 13-8 13-7. Demoralizing losses that I wouldn't blame anyone for losing the series after that. And on top of that, You start split off by losing the pistol round.

Yet, even when all seemed lost. My pai stepped up to the plate and lead his team to securing 2 maps and almost securing a 3rd. I don't blame LOUD for losing LOCK//IN. I think that day, the fates of Valorant just wanted FNC to win. But I don't think that LOCK//IN should be seen as a failure for LOUD and Saadhaak, but as a feat. And even if they performed poorly this year, Saadhaak is still one of the greatest IGLs we will see for a long time

Ender Cup Player Info

So, I did a post saying what I expect from The Ender Cup MCC in terms of games and maps; and I was going to do the same post demonstrating the balancing which I would expect. But I overall didn't actually have any ideas on what the teams and balancing could look like. However, given some new info which has come to light from Seapeekay (I am an avid CPK viewer btw) I dare say the event may have very little of the usual roster, but this information could easily be false, or if it is we end up with a pretty regular roster anyway.

So, in Callums Stream yesterday, after talking a little about his moustache tickling his nose- he says that hes excited for the ender cup MCC - but that there wasn't a signup (on the discord) This is around 19:00 in this archived vod -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lR34fJsXNA0 .

This tells us that (assuming that this is not a lie), that the roster for this event will be based on an invite mechanism - rather than a signup mechanism.

This makes it easier to coordinate which players will be in, as there won't be an abundance of signups to work through on top of however many supposed newcomers/ one-time players which will be in.

Linking back to the clip, Callum says that if people know that they are in and are talking about being in, then he isn't in. And despite being a CPK viewer which may mean that I am coping a little, I would say that he would be a more likely candidate to be in this event than a lot of the rest of regular MCC participants - considering he has being making Minecraft Content (YT and Twitch) for the better part of 11 years.

However, this event may have spots reserved for larger creators which makes sense considering it is the 15th anniversary for minecraft, so Mojang may want the occasion to be remembered more widely - with larger creators celebrating it -> Callum also says in the clip that there has been speculation (by the players) that they think that Minecraft are helping to choose the players for this event. Which may explain why he isn't in, as (in his own words) he ''isn't a prominent youtube creator for minecraft anymore.''

To sum all of this up, I don't think that there will be many regulars and those that are in will be the ones who have been making content for a long time + are larger.

I would also expect a few subs to end up being needed, due to lots of expected new/one-time players who could very easily forget about it or get the start time wrong (like Michael Reeves in MCC P24)

-> Depending on how wrong I am, this post may be deleted after teams, as I might just be waffling a bunch of nonsense.
