My first (almost) all new PC build feat Arc A770!

About a week or so back I made a post asking about my new A770 in an old i5-2500k PC. Well here it is with the rest of her friends! I dont really know how to use reddit at all yet so apologies in advance for the offsite image hosting idk if thats bad practice but idk I felt like this was worth sharing somehow. I may be a young engineer but I'm still a boomer at social media.

In total it was almost exactly $1000, I didnt buy any new drives yet but will eventually be getting an M.2 to move my OS to and a wifi/bluetooth M.2 cause I use an ASUS USB one rn and it sucks a lot!!

Really happy with how it turned out. It looks great, runs fast as hell, and stays extremely quiet the whole time. Full system load with the fans at minimum speed and nothing goes above 75. Running on a new install of Fedora Linux 40 with KDE, nearly full 60fps in Cyberpunk 2077 at absolute max with vsync running at an OS level. I feel like the performance I got for the money I paid is really great. I never realized how slow that old Sandy Bridge processor was until now. Looking forward to seeing ARC improve over time as well with the new Xe linux driver being beta tested.

I probably could have waited for Battlmage, but when the new Sparkle Luna Edition card came out I just had to grab it, its so gorgeous. Plus, it'll encourage intel just a bit more that they were right to enter this market.

Not sure why the cyberpunk benchmark says FSR when I set it to XeSS but maybe thats why it crashed when I took the screenshot lmao.

What brands to stay away from while I'm building a PC?

First time PC builder and I just found out about GamersNexus shocking revelation about Asus.

Which other brands should I stay away from, who frequently engage in consumer malpractice or just give bad quality products in general? One offs are common and forgivable but I want the names of repeat offenders.
