1. Says he feels stupid every time Serena has rejected him (valid) and then welcomes her back with open arms each time.

2. Has a connection with Daia in casa and then brings her back only to walk in holding his head down and standing there being told off by Serena like a kid who was sent to the principal’s office instead of owning his decision to bring Daia back and confidently standing on business.

3. Repeating that he “just wanted to test his connection with Serena” instead of just owning the fact that Daia and him have a physical connection (most likely their love language) which is something that he was missing in his connection with Serena and that he was attracted to her. He enjoyed the attention, validation and affection that he received from Daia and he was physically attracted to her. Just say it.

4. Making both girls breakfast. Again, this goes back to owning his choice and choosing one or the other, specifically Daia who he brought back to the villa otherwise, what was the point? Either make the girl who you’re in a couple with breakfast or none. Stop being the nice guy and playing both sides.

5. On that note, he needs to stand up for himself in terms of having avocado toast flipped onto his person. Serena Stans will hate me but that was totally crossing the line. She could’ve thrown in it the trash in front of him or anything other than that. I think everyone in the makeup room was appalled at that. What is Kordell’s rock bottom? Being cussed out? Having a plate flipped on him? Being called nappy headed? If the tables were turned and Kordell was a woman and Serena was a man, this behavior would be called abusive at worse and toxic at best.

6. Kordell begging Serena to communicate with him and trying to get her to talk to him on the dock. I get it. He’s pulling teeth with her at this point. At what point does he say “fuck this shit” and leave it alone by focusing on Daia or even just deciding to self eliminate or even stay single (to be clear, I don’t like Serena or Daia for him but that’s another post for another time).

Finally, Kordell needs to learn that he can exit the matrix on not be swayed by either Serena or Daia. He needs to learn to think for and stand up for himself. I give him grace because he’s young but I’m also wondering what his rock bottom is and the point in which he grows a backbone and decides for himself what he wants and also what he’s going to accept in a relationship. IMO, Kordell/Serena are over and the damage is done in terms of the lines that have been crossed on both sides. Serena is walking away and Kordell needs to do the same at this point. 🤷🏽‍♀️

In this last ep I was shocked to see the girls (not Kaylor, that wasn’t shocking at all) forgiving Aaron so quickly and even showing physical affection. Serena is cussing out Kordell but putting Aaron’s head in her lap and rubbing his back.

Am I missing something here? Aaron is objectively far worse than Kordell.

I see a lot of people coming down hard on Serena so I’m going to try to shoot her some bail lol based on what I gathered from last night’s episode. I rewatched 2 scenes, Serena’s convo with Rob and Miguel and Serena and Kordell’s argument at the end. Long but bear with me.

In her convo with Rob and Miguel, Serena said that she and Kordell had a talk where she opened up and shared her past and he expressed he that he wouldn’t do her dirty, wanted to take care of her, etc. She expressed to him that her initial hesitation wasn’t even about him. She says that they also had a talk about exploring connections and doing so respectfully. Not sure if many remember but Kordell and Serena also had a convo after her date with Nigel where she says she didn't kiss Nigel cause she knew it would be disrespectful to Kordell so it's fair to say he knew where she stood on that.

I believe that by casa Kordell and Serena were beyond their initial back and forth and slow pacing. She says as much to the casa boys when she receives the video and expresses that she opened up to him about feelings and they got somewhat physical in bed. I’m assuming that convo is also where they exchanged rings. All of that was edited out for whatever reason. I understand why people continue to bring up her initial hesitation with Kordell, but based on her convos with others and how she conducted herself on the date with Nigel, they were beyond that and had established something. Yes, they were still open but they had reached a point where Kordell knew she had real feelings for him and they weren’t exploring other connections in the same way they would’ve before. Consideration for each other mattered now.

Serena says several times in their argument that Kordell didn't care about her while in casa despite his insistence that he did. He says that the first time he kissed Daia he thought about Serena and felt terrible, he goes as far as saying she could ask the boys and Daia herself. Serena then says, "But you kept doing it". She says, "Within those 4 day, not at one point did you stop". I think that's the crux of her pain. He keeps saying he felt bad and he's sorry but that didn't stop him or even slow him down from going further and further with Daia and taking it to the bed with Serena's ring on.

I remember even the audience being confused by Kordell saying he felt bad after every kiss and that he was constantly thinking about Serena when he was making out and getting physical with Daia. He claimed he felt bad but he just kept doing it and then he brought Daia back. That's why Serena is hurt. He keeps saying he considered her but as far as she can tell he didn't. I think she'd rather he say he wasn't thinking about her than say he was when his actions say otherwise. I understand why the groveling comes across performative to her when you consider that. In her eyes, if he was in fact thinking of her while in casa then he didn't consider their connection strong in any way cause he kept trucking along with Daia. I also think that’s why Kordell isn’t making any counterpoints about her initial hesitation with him like the audience is cause he knows they were beyond that. Evidently he breached whatever boundaries they set which he admits himself.
