so, in brief terms, Murderville is a show made by Will Arnett where he brings on celebrity guests to solve a murder mystery where everyone is in character and in on the story except the guest, who was to improvise according to every scenario they run into.
I was watching clips from the show and it kinda struck me the similarities between it and Very Important People, someone thrown into a fictional scenario and trying to hang on to it, the difference being in VIP all (or rather, both) involved parties have to improvise everything from scratch, whereas in Murderville all of the "crew" are already in on the plot and their characters.
I was thinking about who could host it, and honestly, creating a fictional world and narrative and then ushering in a participant to make their way through it.... that's basically just DMing. I think either Brennan or Aabria (or even both) would be great fits to play the cop(s) that guide their rookie cop at training into crazy scenarios, while the rest of the cast can play characters. It's sort of a flipped premise, where instead of a group of participants and one "moderator", it's a single participant with a group of moderators.
and as for the "guest" the one peson not in on the premise that has to improvise, I think there are plenty of suitable options. Sam, Ally, Vic, Lou, Issy.... honestly anyone would be a good fit.
I'm not saying that they necessarily should do it, I just found it fun to speculate about.
I've watched clips of making some noise and play by ear but just thought grant o'brien was this amazing improve, writer, musician and Shakespearen actor but it's actually someone called Ross Bryant?
Specifically Sam's part on the TV talking to everyone, while he was locked in the bathroom, and/or how did he get into the bathroom? Like I'm sure it actually has such a simple answer and I can't think of it rn but yeah
Edit: Thanks guys, I was high af when I wrote that and genuinely couldn't comprehend the episode, lmaoooo, y'all are the best though, so lovely ,thanks sm for not being rude about it omg
Ever since MSN S3E1 I've started using "I buffed it! I shitted it!" whenever I comically fuck something nonserious up and I often replace the phrase "no problem" with "dropout dot tv slash my sweatshirt" in conversation with my fiancé and I'm so curious if any Dropout vernacular has made its way into anyone else's vocabulary

My god their acting in season 3 is so bad, shweta tries too hard to be badass but comes out as funny imo, harshita and Isha both don't have any expressions, I don't know how they are still getting work

Dad listens to green day, Weezer, Foo fighters, ac/dc, the offspring, sum 41 and Linkin Park.
Mom listens to a lot of Spanish music and 80's music (she's from South America -)

I just watched the early access release of the movie Fly Me To The Moon starring Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum, with Woody Harrelson, Ray Romano, and… to my surprise the incredible Anna Garcia!!! I only know Anna from dropout content, so it was a huge and pleasant surprise to see her appear in this movie!!!
Has anyone else seen it or is planning to? It’s a wonderful film - I highly recommend it!!
