In Rebels season 3, the Bendu tells Thrawn: I see your defeat, like many arms surrounding you in a cold embrace. At the end of Rebels, we assumed this referred to the Purgil grabbing thrawn with their tentacles as he was taken to some unknown place at the time. Currently of course we know he made it to Peridea and now back to the galaxy far far away, and with the upcoming Ahsoka season 2 and the Filoni film, I think it would be really cool if the Bendu vision referred to Thrawn's real final demise.
I can imagine the Nightsisters turning on Thrawn as a parallel to the Noghri turning on him in the EU, and him maybe being pulled into the ground by the spirits of the dead nightsisters, surrounding him in a cold embrace once again or something of the sort. Either way, I think there's a very solid chance the Bendu's prediction will come true. What do you guys think?
