2024 Toyota Prado gets tough Modellista makeover
Is the Prado's styling a little too plain for you? Modellista's range of personalisation parts could be just the remedy.
The 2024 Toyota LandCruiser Prado has been given a tougher look, thanks to the release of new add-on parts.
Modellista, the Japanese tuning arm of Toyota, has released its catalogue for the new Prado – referenced as the 250 Series – for those who want to style their four-wheel-drive to stand out from the pack.
Available to purchase as a package or individually – in Japan – Modellista offers a front bumper guard, an aluminium skid plate, rear bumper garnish, as well as fog light surrounds, wheel arch flares, quarter-panel garnish, door skirts, rear bumper step guard, rear spoiler, LED fog-light globe, and a tailgate garnish.
Also on offer is a set of 20-inch Wing Dancer alloy wheels finished in black and anthracite, clad in Toyo Open Country all-terrain tyres.
Inside, the Prado can be styled with an illumination kit, LED footlights, and window tint, along with items such as a sunshade and seat cushion.
While not part of the Modellista range, Toyota Japan does also offer owners the ability to upgrade to round headlights – with the rectangular headlight to be fitted as standard on all Prado models sold in Australia following its launch before the end of this year.
With car customisation a popular pastime in Japan, Toyota founded Modellista in 1997 to provide factory-backed body kits and accessories – with a long history of offering more aggressive styling options for owners.
As Toyota Australia doesn't offer Modellista parts locally, interested owners can purchase items through third-party Japanese parts importers such as Rupewrecht.
