  • RHRN Bonus & I Tre Volti Della Paura RHRN Bonus & I Tre Volti Della Paura
    DISCUSSION

After viewing the Veeps Bonus Content mockumentary, I was tempted to watch a prominently promoted film. Now, we know it as the "Black Sabbath" movie from 1963 where three short stories are told together in a kind of Tales from the Cryptkeeper-style. In its original Italian, it's as the title above says but also this phrasing is attached to a kind of proverb. Literally the three faces of fear but also seen as all bad things come in three. I was talking about it with others from Italy and that was the first thing they understood it as rather than the literal reading. Might be a regional thing but there you go. Feel free to tell me anything you know of this Italian saying. I love cultural tidbits like this.
The film was a good watch and I'm glad to have gotten recommended it! If you enjoy old films and a psychological horror/comedy blend, I think it's worth a shot. Free with ads on Youtube, no less!

Now, how I think it's a fit with Ghost: it's got a quirkiness to it while legitimately giving you spooky vibes and twists. Wait/skip till the end if you want to see a very Ghost-like scene, lol. It is the exact humor I'd expect to see from TF. Our narrator and monster, if you will, breaks the fourth wall by riding a fake horse with stage hands holding branches to be the trees as he "rides" by. All of the filming space is made obvious by the camera zooming out, breaking the viewer away from the character being seen within their story and into reality. It's not real but he laughs as if he's still in character despite what we're seeing. Good shit right there, lol. I can imagine any of the Papas doing this during a filming, being super serial scary, lol. Maybe we'll see some parodies of various scenes from this film in the future!

As for a second and more tin-foiled point, perhaps a future Papa may have a face modeled after one of the actors in this film. Previous Papas, save for Walter-Primo, all had their faces modeled after actors (even Anton LaVey played minor roles according to wiki). I'm thinking maybe Boris Karloff as aged during this film. Fits the bill of being an old dude with prominent brows, haha. In any case, I had fun! Looking to see what else I should follow up on next from the mockumentary.

TL;DR: Good old film was recommended in the RHRN bonus content. I recommend it to others- it's free with ads on Youtube :) and subtitled in english with the original Italian dialogue. Have a rocking fucking day, everyone! \m/

Metal Hammer interview from the Infestissumam days. It's funny to me how different things were back then, contrasted with what hasn't changed and what's happened since.

In case anyone shed a tear or 2 like I did, here is his speech.

I understand that, Despite the fact that we're here tonight to have a really good time. It might not be that you're all feeling great all the time. Sometimes moments of fun can just be like a lifting of a bourdon for a short little moment. But then that is life you know? That is how life works. You have fun and then you have lots of fun. You're happy and then you're sad. That is the roller coaster, that is life. You got that? Do you understand? Alright.

Hi everyone! I wanted to talk about what Ghost and/or Papa mean to me because I'm curious if anyone else feels the same way. So, when I was younger and I first started playing guitar, Metallica was like my bible. I learned as much of their stuff as I could do that I could be a metal player. Long story short I got scooped up to play bass in a blues band for 10 years because I didn't know how to say no to people, but now thanks to Papa I'm starting to get back to my roots. I'm actually just playing because I enjoy it instead of playing to practice and be ready for a gig. I'm singing the way that I want to instead of altering my vocal tone to sing backups. In fact, their music has felt very much akin to a spiritual awakening for me. I was aware quite some time ago that I am not a Christian, but it wasn't until I really got into Ghost that I started looking into Luciferianism (very different from satanism just saying). The music helps me feel a connection to Lucifer, as over-zealous as that sounds. Listen the point is that Ghost has majorly changed my life for the better, and it's fucking awesome ❤️

Ghost on BooHoo man?! Wtf?! Ghost on BooHoo man?! Wtf?!
    DISCUSSION

I noticed recently BooHoo man has started advertising Ghost band T-shirts. What I want to know is, how do people feel about it? (And not necessarily Ghost but all band tees you find in shops like Boohoo/primark/H&M, the cheaper kind not officially licensed ones) I'm personally not opposed to if it's a cost thing? Also, it advertises the band and can attract new fans? Can also attract new buddies if you spot them wearing a band you like? But I still feel in my gut it's wrong. Do the band get any money out of it?
