For a month now I don’t know what to listen to and I actually pity the broader fanbase for listening to these shows.
Ariel: insufferable, biased and victim complex
DC: shill and biased
Chael: shill and ridiculous takes to get views
Bisping: another shill and co-host Anthony Smith
Schaub: honestly don’t mind him but too many ads but I don’t learn anything listening to him and he doesn’t actually watch the fights
Weighing In: honestly not bad but they’re full on mma and I like boxing more
MMA guru: miserable person who is consistently toxic because he loses money betting
ProBoxTV: I actually really like them but they recently got rid of George J. which makes zero sense to me and Paulie’s voice bursts my ear drums
PorterWay: they can’t keep a conversation on track
DAZN Boxing Show: barely make content unless there’s influencer fights happening and don’t cover non-DAZN
Let me know if I missed anything. Overall for a one stop shop boxing and mma, nothing comes close to MK. I don’t even bother taking my headphones to work anymore.
A sports cricket coverage of Pak vs NZ is horrible. Every time Pak gets a wicket they goto ads right away instead of waiting for the replay to show. The constant ads are irritating AF. Like, can you wait a few seconds to show the replay of a good wicket?
As the heading says I got to watch sky sports coverage of CWC 2023.
First of all their intros and outros as very much inline with theme of world cup (because they are using the official intro and outro animation as music), on the other hand start sports intros are gimicy and not good at all along with music they are using.
Expert on their panel are wearing all WC themed clothes where are start sports is just some random fashion show.
Official ICC stream and Sky sports stream is having better panelists.
Apart from that when Sky is playing their exclusive bits of experts (live or recorded) they are using better cameras and better video quality just like they do for F1 and football.
Actual match feed is almost same but then when during break start switches back to its coverage thing dont add up and it all feels misplaced. Obviously start will cover more from Indian pov and sky from English pov still there is no grace about star's coverage feels like IPL is going on.
Share your opinion I'll add something of I remember.
Edit : pardon my English and grammar.
Edit 2 : I get everyone's point that Sky is expensive AF but viewership that Star gets is not comparable with sky. And sponsorship money in India is also huge so so revenue collection wise I don't have concrete data but Stars revenue for CWC must be way more than that of Sky's I feel. Feel free to share data regarding the same if you have it.
Edit 3 : I don't have the link now
Home of the fans of Celtic Football Club, the most successful football club in Scotland
I was watching the game on a Premier Sports stream yesterday and I have to say the commentators were disgraceful, the level of bias towards Rangers was unbelievable to listen to. All game, the only topic was what Rangers had to do or weren't doing and barely anything about Celtic. The handball was waved away with nary a hint of objectivity. The commentators were so excited when Rangers scored that they totally ignored/weren't even looking at the Raskin push on Hart. I wish they had some more objective blokes in the box
Tonight in the cinch we have 5 games that all kick off at 19:45 and not one of them is shown on our partnered tv channels. Games that could really change the league table. Kilmarnock vs Dundee United, Hearts vs Rangers, Aberdeen vs St Mirren. Could be a very entertaining night of football but we still get absolute minimum coverage.
Did we really miss out this much with the BT Sports deal?

What kind of foolish executive is allowing advertisements to fully interrupt these matches? Literally cuts away from the game entirely and plays an advert in the 59th minute of the match.
Crazy.

Pat McAfee Show | Podcast | YouTube | Daily PMS talk This Show Stinks.
Show started today with alot of baseball chatter, deservedly so imo. Last night was a big night for sports when there was little else going on. #USA
But do you enjoy the coverage of sports besides football? I like baseball and basketball, so I don't mind, but it gets a little tiring when Pat acts like he literally doesn't know a thing about them. I enjoy when they bring other sports experts on to talk, like Jet, the mayor or even Charles Barkley. Just wish Pat would quit worrying about people shitting on his opinions so he would stop self-handicapping his takes.
This is in no way a dig at Sky Sports at all, but I would love to hear your thoughts on Sky Sports' coverage of the F1's (in general) There is no doubt that this season has been rather unique and with that the constraints on broadcast television always does make a difference. I believe all the races have been vision switched and covered from the UK.
For some reason the commentators have been a little grating for me. I genuinely don't know if they are on location - but I'd love to hear your thoughts on this. I guess maybe it is Sky Sports directive to maybe create more drama, or something?! I can't quite put my finger on it - but would love to get everyone's thoughts.
They do always make lovely openers and feature packages - I will give them that!
