AITA for telling my boyfriend that I don't need his permission to wear a bikini?

I told my boyfriend that I might be going to Thailand with my parents, and asked his opinion on certain swimsuits I should buy. He said that I cannot buy either of them because my breasts would "fall out" of them and that because I have an hourglass figure, I cannot wear it. He then said that he cannot give me "permission", to which I replied that I don't need anybody's permission if my parents are fine with it. He then told me not to disrespect him and that some things need to be approved by the partner. He's also said that I can only wear bikinis nd all when I'm with him, not when I'm with my friends or parents. AITA for telling him I don't need his permission?

Most egregious cases where a clearly aged actor plays a teenager

We all know that Hollywood has a tendency to cast older actors in teenage roles. But what's the most egregious example of this?

  • Literally the entire Grease cast. Excellent movie. But quite literally none of them look and sell me as teenagers in high-school, especially John Travolta.

  • Saoirse Ronan in Lady Bird. She had a sublime performance, but I don't think she really looked the part for a high-schooler.

It’s time to march. Our generation needs to take control.
r/millenials

Millenials - the generation growing up near 2000 and grown up no later than 2020. If you can't remember bittorrent, wikileaks, George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, or Barack Obama, you're not a millenial. You don't have to remember myspace. Yes, a millenial is a millennial and neither are recognized as a noun, only as an adjective, so both are not even a word.

It’s time to march. Our generation needs to take control.

Supreme Court had no one outside of it last night. If there needs to be a call for action allow this to be it. If our leaders have no spine allow us to stand up. If our president elect is all words and dreams allow us to be physical and real. We as a generation and country cannot stand by while this happens. We must all put our personal lives aside, yes I mean work, yes I mean relationship problems, yes outside of deathly illnesses I mean health. We much stand up now or forever be put down. Not for one issue but for all. Not for one party but for all. This isn’t a call for democrats it is a call for everyone. Wake up and march before it’s illegal to do so.

Edit. This is not a call for others to lead or be first. This is not a call to die if you are on medication. This is a call to join me if you don’t have children or a 10k a month medication. And unfortunately the majority of you have refused. Make no mistake, apathy is the death of democracy and here is your proof. I’m being accused of trying to be mlk? How DARE I try to motivate a movement. How dare I. This country deserves what it gets at this point. “Ooooooo my health insurance.” What about your fucking freedom?

Why is population decline seen as a bad thing?

It's pretty well known now that a lot of Western and Asian countries have very low birth rates, in many cases too slow to maintain the existing population.

We often hear this talked about as a "population crisis" and countries like Japan are taking measures to massively increase immigration to counter the lack of local births.

So my question is, why does it matter? So a country has 20 million people this year and may have 15 million in 20 years. What's the problem with that? Why does it need more people?

If one of the major reasons for low birth rates is the inability to afford kids, then wouldn't losing a quarter of the population make housing prices plummet to the point where basically anyone could afford one? Then they'd be able to more easily afford kids and the population could stabilize.

It seems to me that if people aren't having enough kids, it's a sign not that the country needs to find other ways to grow the population, but that the country can't support a larger population and NEEDS to shrink.

Edit:
Lots of interesting responses here. I didn't expect so much interest in the topic. I've got some interesting links about economics to look into from some comments. Particularly regarding South Korea and their population collapse.
