Picked up this lady from a clinic she was on the phone talking about her prescription and right when I was about to drop her off I hear say so this will make my Covid go away I ended up getting it put me down for about a week
This happened a couple of days ago but I’m still kind of pissed about it. I picked up some guy in the middle of the day this past Saturday who was already obviously a little drunk. I asked him if he was having a good day, he said he was partying but tired from packing and commented that he’s moving to Nashville. I said that’s exciting and asked if he’s moving there for a job. He replied caustically that he doesn’t work for anyone and that he’s his own boss. He then goes off saying that he’s moving there because he’s going to be making more money with his business. He kept calling it his “fuck you money.� He talks about how he isn’t working no 8-5 like everyone else and how he’s going to be partying and meeting a ton of women up in Nashville (trust me, this guy was not physically attractive. I’m a straight dude, but I can still tell when I dude is an ugly fuck). He had two stops and the first was at his house. We pull up to his house. He tells me to drop him off drive up to the culdesac and pull around. He said he was running in to change clothes. I pull around, and park in front of what I thought was the house he went in. I open my email to look at a schedule from my primary job this summer. I look up a couple minutes later and the guy is waving me down. He’s literally 5-7 meters away. I pull up, said sorry and that I confused the houses. He then aggressively said “pay attention.� At first I just said sorry and I look in the rear view and said sorry again. He has the pouty face of a four year old and says “it’s ok� and then remarks, “I was waving at you for two minutes.� I said sorry again, but he still pretends to be a pouty child who didn’t get the cup he wanted. He then calls up his mom to brag about how the stock he opened in her name went up then calls another guy who apparently is a million air to kiss his ass. Btw, he put his phone on speaker. His conversations were the cringiest thing I’ve heard in a while. After getting off the phone with his rich friend, he then says he can only hope to make the amount of money he’s making one day. I didn’t say anything, except cool sarcastically. This guy was a total d-bag. Certified tool. I instantly gave him one star and left a note that the passenger was disrespectful. I’m a little pissed at myself though, because I shouldn’t have tolerated him after he told me to “pay attention� in the way he did. Thinking back on it, I should have kicked him out as soon as he spoke to me like that. I feel like I’m doing a disservice to other drivers because this guy literally thinks he’s above everyone that doesn’t make a lot of money. He acted like I work for him. That’s bs. What would y’all have done?
It’s been a good ride but I am done losing money everyday I goto work.
I don't know where else to turn. I'm sorry in advance if this is against any rules or policies. I signed up to drive with Uber cleared my background check. Had to spend a little time in the hospital I wasn't able to drive. Meanwhile my roommate stole a bunch of things including my phone. I had two step verification set up with Google. I know my Uber driver app login email and the correct password but when I go to try to sign in it wants to send verification to either the email that I can't get into or the phone number that I no longer have access to.
I called customer service and spend 56 minutes on the phone with them. The agent had me go to the Uber driver app and insert the NEW email that I wanted to use with the OLD account.
Well this created a new primary account.
She then proceeds to tell me that since I chose to create a new primary account I have to go through a whole new background check.
I'm sorry, what?
Of course I push back and said that I just wanted to delete the new primary account and put a new email and phone number attached to my old account, it's not that difficult.
She told me just to log into the old account.
I said I can't log into the old account.
That's why I'm calling you.
She goes: Just log into the old account.
I said oh my God.
Can I please speak with a supervisor?
No supervisors were working that day to be able to take a call. ???
Eventually she said well I'm going to send you an email with a link in it and that link is going to allow you to delete the primary account.
I said okay welll just wait on the phone with me until the magic email comes. 14 minutes later the email hasn't come and she's trying to get off the phone.
I'm not letting her get off the phone because I know there's no email coming.
She says oh well you have to hang up the phone for the email to come because being on the phone is blocking the email from getting to your phone.
What??!
I said come on dude I said now you just like blatantly lying to me.
Long story short, she terminated the call, the email never came. I've called back three times. Each time they put me on hold to look into the case and then hang up.
I've tried chatting on chat support.
They basically say:
Oh you can't get into your old account?
No problem, just log in your old account and everything will be fine.
I don't understand how this can be such a problem in 2024.
I just want to be able to access the account that I know the email and the password for.
Can somebody please help me and tell me what to do, who to call, anything please?
With Amazon Prime Days coming up this week, I thought maybe I should finally get a dash cam. Definitely want one that records the front and interior, and figure I might as well get one that records out the rear window as well (assuming it’s fairly straight forward to wire).
What are some recommended cams that people like? Bonus points if they’re on sale this week lol
The uber insurance in canada ontario is economical and their website says you r covered when app is on. Anybody have an idea on this. Am really fucked up bcos of this accident. Please help me.

I haven't been going out much lately since orders are all trash but I logged on this weekend. Saturday nothing, Sunday same as Saturday. Today back to the usual trash but I finally accepted an order (double pick up for Christina and Rachel). While I was waiting at noodleholics for the 2 orders I suddenly got 2 pop ups first Naomi's order has been canceled then Irene's order was canceled? Neither one were the order I was waiting on. The restaurant just said that both orders had been picked up. This usually happens on busy holidays.
