A ‘sincere thank you’ amount of points for you, Dropout crew.

Dear Sam and the crew,

Today i found myself stressed out and doom scrolling over the latest Supreme Court decisions. I am sure I am not alone in my anxiety for our future. After putting my infant daughter down for bed, i found myself sitting in silence in my living room, wondering how I could possibly come out of the latest political induced depression spiral so that I could sleep.

I scrolled through Netflix, but found I didn’t have an appetite for any content they had to offer. Everything felt like it would just be meaningless noise; garbage tv to just pile onto my dread and sadness.

And then I remembered Dimension 20 had started up on a new season and instantly felt some relief. I put it on, and my husband got excited and said “good choice, this is what we need”. There is something about Dropout content that never fails to fill my metaphorical cup. There is joy, silliness, creativity, fun, and inspiration to be found in the shows created by everyone at Dropout. Your content brings me peace. It quiets my anxiety and allows hope to fill my heart. And it is needed now, more than ever.

So thank you to the entire staff at Dropout - to the writers, the cast members, the editors, the camera crew, the incredible art department, and everyone in between. Your work is making a difference in my life. Thank you for all that you do.

P.s my daughter won’t let me sleep tonight, but at least I’m no longer unbearably sad.

Zac Efron in "A Family Affair" makes me so sad for him

He just looks so different.

Clearly he had work done despite saying he "had an accident and had to have surgery" on that new jaw of his. His face alone so obviously looks like it had work done. He didn't need any of it.

It is just so sad.

He would have aged like fine wine if he kept everything natural. Just proves truly the most beautiful are also the most insecure I guess.

Official Petition To Have Sam Reich GM A Season of D20

Mild spoiler? for this week's Adventuring Academy: Sam loves to play as the GM in Mafia games.

I would love to see him behind the screen for a season of D20! I don't know how he'd manage the ruleset, but I loved him in Mice and Murder, and would love to see more of him in that sort of space!

Genuinely, what is the worst song ever made?

I always look at these kinds of posts and see songs like "Dance Monkey" or "Fancy Like." And while those are terrible songs, (and of course you're allowed to think those are the worst songs) there has to be a song by some unknown band from the 70's that is unbearable while still maintaining some rhythm and basic musical aspects. Kind of like the Shaggs, rather than Metal Machine Music by Lou Reed.

Wanna know if you’ll like “In a violent nature”?

First off I’m not sure whether or not to post this under movies so please make any corrections my dear mods.

I personally loved this movie but IMO quite a few people had the wrong idea before they saw it. That is totally understandable because I can definitely see people being bored or uninterested and the reviews so far haven’t really done a great job of explaining what this movie is. So instead of a typical review I’m going to put down the three biggest reasons why I loved it

  1. Did you watch the old Friday The 13th movies when you were a kid. Were you always wondering where Jason was or what he was doing when the movie was focused on the counselors? The slow shots of him walking and stalking kept me entertained but be prepared for LOTS of that.

  2. Do you love long steady shots of nature? This is basically an ASMR horror movie and nature is on point here. You can hear every cricket and feel every bush he’s walking through.

  3. Do you love cinematography? Some of the shots in this movie are beautiful and creepily unsettling. I especially loved what they did with minimal lighting.

I hope this movie becomes a cult classic because I love how original it was. I want to see more ideas like this!

After using and trying out many music apps, I can assure you that YT Music is the best music streaming app for Android.

Why do I say that? I really love music, like a lot. Sometimes, I think it might even be a bit harmful how much I use headphones. I also value the visual appeal, features, and organization of apps a lot. Today, I tried switching to Spotify (I even have playlists there), but I couldn't use it because I missed some features, the same happened with Apple Music on Android. I could feel how much easier YT Music is once you get used to it.

YT Music has been improving with each update. I think about a year ago or more, it was still quite unstable with its recommendations, etc. But man, recently it has improved so much; it now has the best music recommendations of any app. Its integration with the Android ecosystem is excellent. Its integration with YouTube is incredible. However, it still lacks some basic features that, for me, would make it perfect, such as:

  1. Organizing songs in playlists alphabetically, by artist, albums, etc. (something most apps have).

  2. Searching within playlists (would make things so much easier).

  3. Drag-and-drop to queue feature (also a basic feature).

  4. Improving offline mode.

  5. Playlist covers (honestly, I don't care much because I know some users might put up strange and inappropriate covers, so maybe that's why it's not there)."

In your opinion, what is the absolute worst channel on YouTube? Not including banned channels like EDP445 or some shock channels like DollyFlesh, because those are too obvious. Answer away!

I finally got Dropout, this fucking ROCKS

I’ve been watching YT shorts for a while, and finally was able to buy a subscription a few days ago, and I watch something EVERY day. I’ve binged the first seasons of Make Some Noise and Game Changer, watched Survivor, the Ratfish, and a few episodes of Dirty Laundry and Um, Actually. Tonight i started my first D20 episode! It’s so fantastic that there’s several things I haven’t even mentioned yet that I’m so stoked to watch. I’m just so happy and wanted to share.
