Who was the biggest simp on the show?

AJ - gave away his bike to get laid and fell into depression when he got dumped.

Tony - Sold the poultry store (which he admitted was an important part of the community) because he wanted to have sex with the realtor.

Furio - Became depressed and disinterested over Carmella.

Johnny Sac - Almost started a war over a fat joke about Ginny

Zellman - Of all the women in Jersey, he sleeps with Tony's ex goomar.

Artie - Hires an attractive young woman with the secret intent of having sex with her, then gets all butthurt when she refused.

Jamal Ginsburg - After being insulted and threatened by Tony, still sticks around because he wanted to get into Fielder's pants.

Bobby Baccalieri - Punched Tony in the face for a harmless joke about Janice.

I don't think they could have asked for anyone better than John Lithgow.

false

It's especially easy to appreciate his performance when you consider he's just as good at comedy. But his ability to convey his character visually with only silent expressions in season 4 of Dexter was brilliant. When he spoke, the gravitas of his delivery demanded respect. When he needed to jump between emotional states it was always believable, to see him go from a menacing, violent manipulator to a trauma ridden man-child. Hats off to Mr. John Lithgow, a possibly under-rated actor of his generation.
