Let us do more than cancel our DND Beyond subscriptions. There are more ways to make our voices heard: Boycott All Wizards Products.
Stop buying Dnd books and miniatures. They are releasing Keys to the Golden Vault and Bigby Presents soon. Let's make sure those flop.
Stop buying Magic and participating in events. The next magic set, Phyrexia: All Will be One, releases on February 10th. Do not register or attend.
Stop playing Magic Arena and other Wizards Digital Games.
Do not go see the Dnd movie releasing on March 31st.
Cancel your Dnd Beyond Description by filling out a support ticket.
Write a hand written letter and send it to Wizards at 1600 Lind Ave SW, Renton, WA 98057.
To ensure local game stores are unhurt, take the money you would have spent on WotC products and try something else. Post a picture of yourself with a non-Wizards TTRPG or TCG product, then go play it with your friends. Please do not skip this step.
Keep playing your home games with the materials you have.
These should be our demands:
Wizards should publicly denounce the OGL 1.1 leak and recommit to OGL 1.0.
Wizards needs to acknowledge this is a breach of trust with its community and commit to repairing the damage they have done.
Issue full throated support for the third party content creators and acknowledge the contributions they have made to their respective communities.
We still can revert to an era where Wizards of the Coast and Third Party Content creators exist in symbiosis. Let's do this for Colville, Mercer, Crawford, Perkins, Rosewater, and the many many many others whose work enriches the hobbies that we love.
Edit: Gratifying to see others feel this way. Thank you for other suggestion: unsubscribe on all social media platforms. Also boycott Hasbro.
Edit Edit: Wizards finally responds. It’s more concessions than I would have thought, but I have mixed feelings about it.
I’m leaving this post up until the new OGL is announced. Today’s statement is a step in the right direction, but I imagine I speak for most of us when I say a lot more is needed. Based on the comments below, some of us already feel the damage done is the word of the week: “irrevocable”.

One of the biggest reasons I stopped playing Standard as a format in 2019 was because the sets lacked synergy and the list of good cards in each given set were limited and expensive. You couldn't do anything competetive with bulk cards, or rares that were worth under a certain price point.
I started playing Magic when I was 11 years old with the RTR block. I fell in love with the rotation of sets and the themes that came along with them. As I got older and went through high school, MTG lost a lot of that creativity and organization. Now, I strictly stick to Commander and Limited formats. Standard was the format that made me fall in love with Magic and honestly I would highly consider playing it again if the sets were released in block format and shared themes/mechanics like they used to.
How do you guys feel about how Wizards releases their products today vs how they released them in the past? What would you change?
