Party game

I got the game yesterday and finished the campaign yesterday on my own. But today, friday night, after cooling down from a nice graduation reunion and an evening out: Me, wife, 6yo son and my brother with his kid and wife. Six player local co-op on the big screen. Seafood, drinks and snacks for the little ones.
What an evening. We went through story mode with a couple of breaks to chat, try some Sapporo, Sake, mussels, and aguachiles while catching up (my brother is visiting from Cali). The game is short but anyone can play it and get the hang of it right away. My wife and sister in law are no gamers yet they joined us through the entire journey and were reminiscent of the show (we are all in our mid to late 30's). Kids also got into the game and are now thinking of having their cousins for a sleepover and play the game.
That is all. It is now past midnight, guests are downstairs asleep spending the night (that Sake was amazing), tomorrow we head over to the Renaissance festival.
Fantastic game. If you enjoy beat em ups, you'll love this game. So many details are in it and the game honors all the great games before it. One thing I noticed, when you get flattened, the sprites have no shadows. Was this an oversight?
Anyways. Good night everyone!!
LOL sold out in about 15 mins atmosphere is about to be crazy.

Something to put you in a good mood. Videos of people laughing infectiously. No context required.
The best two words in sports. GAME SEVEN.
It all comes down to this. Will it be the Oilers, the Panthers or Steven Stamkos arriving all the same?
Enjoy the game, pray for a Stamkos contract, and KEEP IT CIVIL.

I really want a good party game to play with my friends online. everytime I tried a new mobile game it has atleast one of those issues.
-
Servers are ass and don't work most of the time.
-
making a private match to play with friends is too complicated or is locked behind a pay wall. (Yes. UNO's free stuff each day counts)
-
game is too focused on English language and not gameplay, because my friends don't talk English.
-
game is only fun for the first couple times.
if anyone can find me a good online game to play with friends WITHOUT any of those problem I would highly appreciate it. (don't suggest Minecraft we already have a Minecraft word and are getting tired of it. Same goes for HIVE, Cubecraft, etc..)
pls respond:(

Got a burning question about Australia or Australian lifestyle and culture? This is the place to ask thousands of Australians!
I grew up in regional SA in the 90s / early 00s and I swear every kids party I went to had a game where you had to roll a die trying to land on 6 and if you did, you got to eat a block of chocolate with a knife and fork until someone else rolled a 6. No one I've talked to seems to remember this game! I need validation from internet strangers that I didn't imagine it! TIA
Edit - okay so it's definitely a thing and I'm loving reading all the replies! It's so cool that it goes way back to the 70s and 80s as well! I've also learned there are variations of the game:
-
Some had to put on extra clothes or oven mitts to make it harder
-
Some had to use plastic cutlery
-
Some used frozen chocolate
