Angela Graf

Angela Graf is departing Hope Southern Indiana after serving for nine years as its executive director.

NEW ALBANY – Hope Southern Indiana will begin the search for an executive director after the departure of Angela Graf, who served in the role since June 2015.

The nearly 60-year-old faith-based nonprofit empowers individuals and families to reach self-sufficiency while meeting emergency basic needs. Graf led the ministry to significant growth and impact during a successful nine-year tenure. She has resigned for personal reasons that include relocating out of state to be closer to family and pursuing musical endeavors.

In a hope-filled message to the organization’s board leadership, Graf wrote, “It has been an honor to give the last 9 years of my career as executive director of this nonprofit. I am not going away without valuable leadership skills, lessons of the heart, and meaningful volunteer interactions to look back on. God already knows who the next person will be to lead Hope and has stacked the board with all of you to make it happen.”

Hope Southern Indiana Board Vice President Angie Fenton will serve in an acting executive director role on a volunteer basis.

The search for Hope Southern Indiana’s new executive director will soon begin via a search committee formed by the nonprofit’s board members.
