I recently watched Austin Powers with my nephew. He found half of it funny, but the other half he didn't really get. Some jokes he thought were racist and not funny. This made me wonder, Gen Z, do you like these movies, or do you find them offensive and outdated?
Personally, I found these movies of really funny. I love that Mike Myers has the laugh. Per minute dialed up in these movies. There’s constant jokes nonstop jokes. Definitely some of the jokes lost their luster from when I was 19 years old. But the jokes are still there.

Title means exactly what it says. I’m tired of so much woke in today’s movies. I get enough woke in my daily life.
Give me movies where the main characters are sleeping. Comas or general unconsciousness count too. Movies that are pretty much entirely dream sequences are ideal. And no, Insomnia doesn’t count, the whole point is that he’s woke for the entire runtime.

I'm not just talking John Wick or other action movies (like Nobody or Taken), but they do count. I just mean scenes where some character has no idea who they're dealing with, and me, the viewer, want them to just let loose. Here are some examples;
Fellowship, Legolas telling Boromir who Aragon is
Good Will Hunting, the bar scene
Gladiator, "My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius"
Oldboy, "Can 10 years worth of imaginary training be put to use? Apparently it can"
Warrior, everyone at the school seeing Brendan fight
Superhero movies/shows are gonna fit the bill here, but I've watched a ton (all MCU and DCEU movies), and they often suck at it. Spider-man 2 was pretty good at it tho, but then again, it's Spider-Man 2

...you forget the latter movie was meant to be taken seriously.
Don't get me wrong. It's not like a parody automatically ruins the movie it's making fun of. I can still watch Star Wars even after watching Spaceballs.
The difference is that Spaceballs was made with all the affection in the world for its subject matter. Walk Hard was made specifically to destroy movies like Walk the Line, movies that are nothing more than obvious Oscar baits that get a lot of info wrong, just to make a commercial project out of its subject matter. Walk Hard wanted biopics to be more than that and did everything it could to mock it.
Sadly, with films like Bohemian Rhapsody showing more than a decade later, it didn't work out but it should have.
