560 Albuquerque residents waiting to see what’s next for 4 months
A couple weeks ago I featured the Breaking Bad memes sub, and mentioned that we’d just finished watching that series. Logically we moved on to Better Call Saul, upon which as I write this we’re on the last season. While looking into the background stuff for BCS, I found out that series creator (and fellow RVA native) Vince Gilligan is working on a new series for Apple TV+, variously known as Wycaro and Wycaro 339, with . Not much is known about the show yet, other than it’ll be a sci-fi series and not in the Breaking Bad universe. The sub is the place to follow news about the show, including cast member additions, shooting schedules, and more. Stay tuned.
has written an article about an upcoming media feature’s sub before, but it’s been awhile.
1663 comic fans celebrating Dinah for 6 years
The Black Canary sub celebrates the DC Comics superheroine, Black Canary. Many people have heard of Wonder Woman who was the first female superheroine to join the Justice League. But did you know that the second female to join was Black Canary?
For 77 years, Black Canary has been among the most prominent heroines of DC Comics. Outside of comics, she is best known as the love interest of Green Arrow in shows like Arrow or cartoons like Justice League Unlimited. In comics, you regularly see her in the Green Arrow books, the Birds of Prey books or as part of the Justice League.
However she is just not a love interest. She is a Top 10 Martial Artist, an experienced leader of teams like the Justice League and is a mother. She deserves more attention and prominence in and out of comics.

There have been many attempts at this, but nothing has stuck around. We're going to make it happen this time! The recipes are all 30g of carbs per serving maximum - many much less. They are real recipes for real food. And they often include food porn quality pictures ;)
There are a couple weekly chat threads but other than that - it is only recipes which differentiates the sub from other keto and low-carb food subs. Anything from Almond Flour Chocolate Mini Donuts to Goat Cheese Stuffed Squash Blossoms to Whole Roasted Cauliflower and a lot more.

We're a bit different from other book subs - posts are only the books someone adores. You'll read some snippets of what the book is about and why the poster adored the book. Here's a great sneak peek
It's also the perfect place to find something to read. There's no algorithms so no geared suggestions and unlike walking into a library or bookstore - you'll see everything, not just what you normally read. I've read amazing books I would never have found.
And it's a super friendly place to hang out.

39,292 players on Sega Channel for 13 years!
The Sega Genesis. What a sleek, classic console. Also known as the Mega Drive outside North America, this machine has beautiful 16-bit graphics and blast processing. And, I'm sure, to many people it holds nostalgia too, although I'm personally of the age to have grown up with the Wii. Still, those early memories of playing through the classic Sonic trilogy via the Wii Virtual Console (and later the Mega Drive Ultimate Collection on the PS3) left me with a preference for Sonic over Mario and Sega over Nintendo, despite having been born a decade after the console war.
I've been playing through the classic 1, 2, 3&K Sonic trilogy again recently, on my Mega Drive and witnessing the beautiful pixel art on a classic box CRT (seriously, it's so beautiful), so I've naturally been checking out the subreddit too. hosts a lot of discussions, primarily about , , and .
One thing that the Genesis was known for was its many add-ons, and so is a great place to find collections of all sorts of classic Sega accessories, add-ons or otherwise. These include the , the , a whole (Mega-CD karaoke!?), and even the ! Man, that Genesis watch is so cool, I wonder how much it- okay, $800, nevermind! Anyway, give the subreddit a look - really is a great community of Sega fans who come together over their love of the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive.

35823 office workers adjusting to the correct height* for 9 years
I have been selling used office furniture for 18 years. That work gives me a chance to try and play with office chairs from all the major manufacturers and to see how they stand up over time. At the beginning of the pandemic, my friends and I took over running to answer people's questions about ergonomic chairs.
We just released our 4th annual "mega thread" which has the best distillation of advice we have on what chairs to consider and how to use them.
Good ergonomic chairs from the major manufacturers like Steelcase and Herman Miller are crazy expensive. r/officechairs is a community of folks hunting for great deals on used Aeron chairs and we love to hear about your wins. We also love chair memes, nonsense - and also more nonsense !

90160 endurance racing fans keeping up with timing and scoring for 12 years
, the crown jewel event of sports car racing, so to celebrate, I’ve chosen as today’s featured subreddit. The World Endurance Championship’s current incarnation has existed since 2012, though various forms of endurance racing centered around Le Mans have gone back decades, including a previous version of WEC in the 1980s, and in traditional sports car rules, there are multiple classes with multiple manufacturers apiece. In WEC, the top class is known as and features prototype-style machines from manufacturers including Porsche, Toyota, Ferrari, Peugeot, Cadillac, BMW, Lamborghini, Alpine, and Isotta Fraschini, with a middle class called all running identical chassis, and the production car-based LMGT3 class with cars like the Porsche 911, Chevrolet Corvette, Ford Mustang, and Ferrari 296. Each car has a three-driver rotation that each must meet a certain minimum time in the car for each event, though since the events outside Le Mans range between six and ten hours, that specific time is different. The schedule has eight events: three in Europe, two in the Middle East, one in Japan, one in Brazil, and one in the United States. Each race has an overall winner as well as a class winner for the class that did not win the race overall due to the speed differences between the classes, and the same for the championship at the end of the season. In you’ll find , , , , , , and more. Check it out.

24549 Skeld crew members getting stuck in electrical for 3 years
I’ll be honest. I didn’t join in the Among Us fad when it was at its peak during the pandemic, and now that my wife has turned me on to the game, I wish I had. Yeah, it’s simplistic, but it’s enjoyable, and I see why it’s had staying power. Communities for it are all over the internet, bur sometimes you play with a rando you want to be friends with, but you don’t get their info before they disconnect so you’re likely to never play with them again. Well, that’s where comes in. People there post the crewmate they’re looking for, and, with some luck, they find them. There’s more on the sub as well, with people looking for groups to join (or add new members), , , and . So if you have someone on Among Us you miss playing with, or want to add more friends, is the place for you.

196,113 Smiths at home now for 13 years!
We've featured some cool shows recently, so I thought I'd take today as an opportunity to include the subreddit for a show I used to watch a lot and loved back in the day, and still catch on occasion: American Dad!
In case you aren't familiar with the show, American Dad! is one of Seth MacFarlane's animated sitcoms alongside the ever-popular Family Guy and the less-popular The Cleveland Show. Following the Smith family, American Dad is still going strong with 366 episodes and its 21st season on the way later this year. While it has yet to win an Annie or Emmy Award, that doesn't matter, because today, the show's subreddit, wins Subreddit of the Day. (Clearly the greatest honour of all time.)
is obviously all about American Dad. This can include including , and , , , , and anything else American Dad related.

332,290 good boys going unpetted for 6 years!
Reddit's got a ton of subs, and among my favourites are the animal-themed ones. Out of everything I could see when opening the app or going onto reddit.com, I most want to see cute pets. Cute, pettable pets. If you share this sentiment but also like posts that make you go, "Just pet them already!", then might just be for you.
It's not all about dogs, though (who knew!). is for every time someone’s ignoring an animal, dog or not. Take a look at this example - doesn't deserve some attention? Speaking of cats, there's also which similarly allows all types of pets, but with more of a feline focus if that's your jam. So, why not dive into ? It's got some good stuff - here is a taste of some of what you can find on the subreddit:

In terms of influential electronic music acts, Underworld is up there as one of the greatest for me. Starting in the late 1980s as a synth-pop group, Underworld morphed into a trio of Karl Hyde, Rick Smith, and Darren Emerson, primarily in the genres of techno and progressive house, while experimenting in other genres like over the years, with Emerson leaving in 2000. With sprawling, jam-like songs and Karl Hyde’s stream-of-consciousness lyrical and vocal style, which he still employs on new songs like , Underworld to me, and many others, including , are one of the standouts of the 1990s electronic scene. Until a few weeks ago, I didn’t really understand just how big Great Danes are. Like, you know, you read about it and hear about it, but until you see one, especially up close, you can’t truly understand how massive they are, and that was me until I went to a family friend’s house and interacted with two of them. They may be huge, but they’re gentle giants. They got me interested in seeing more, which led to me finding . The sub has Danes of all and colors, of which there are plenty.
