If I buy a season of NCIS and then later my subscription to Apple TV drops, do I still have access to that season of NCIS?
My Apple TV is hooked up to my Samsung TV along with a Sonos Beam2, two era 100s for surround, and the sub.
I have all the cabling correct. I have my Sonos Beam connected to the eArc port on my TV and my Apple TV in the other HDMI. No matter what I watch on any streaming service whether that be Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, Disney+ I cannot get Dolby Atmos to work. However, if I watch a Dolby Atmos movie that I have purchased in my Apple TV library it plays in Atmos. I don't get it. Any help?
Example: I have purchased Superman Man of steel, it shows up in my Apple TV library and plays in Atmos. (The movie has not been downloaded to my Apple TV as that is not possible so it's still streaming)
If I play Superman Man of steel through HBO Max on Apple TV it plays in PCM2.0. (Cannot even get it to play in 5.1)
My Apple TV Dolby Atmos setting is on. On my Samsung TV under digital output audio format if I turn on pass-through, the audio starts to skip, so I have to keep the audio setting on my TV set to auto. HDMI eARC is on as well.
