r/AppleWatch is the community to discuss and share information and opinions about Apple Watch, the smart watch from Apple.
Ordered an Apple Watch and received an empty box. Raised it with Apple and FedEx who both concluded within like 5 minutes that it wasn’t their fault.
Not sure if the watch was just never put in the box or if it was stolen en route.
Here’s where it gets even worse and where Apple really screws you over - if I file a chargeback apparently my ID will be permabanned. Even with complaints on file and a pending police report.
Not sure how I can possibly get the $800 back but I’m furious. They won’t even provide the IMEI of what they shipped so it can be bricked for whoever stole it.
Anyone have any advice? This has been a miserable experience.
UPDATE: we measured the shipping box and it was below 11 inches, meaning the box itself was too small to ever fit the white box the watch comes in 👀. We also checked the serial number and see no one has tried to activate it yet.
We’re gonna try to connect with Sales Support tomorrow which is apparently the right team to talk to. Thanks for the advice so far, you folks rock.

A place for all Sonos users to hang out and discuss hardware, software, installation, ideas, and troubleshooting.
As your average mid-tier Sonos user I don't have the biggest system but I'm very proud of it.
I thought this nonsense with the app was all a bunch of complaining to complain at first and then I used it and really found out for myself how bad it truly is.
But really disappoints me Sonos, is the fact that my elderly parents, who I gifted a few speakers and a Beam, can't even use their system anymore. All they're able to do is use the Beam as a regular old sound bar and that's it. They totally are dumbstruck at the inability to operate the new app. Using their Sonos system became a part of their daily lives for years whether it was music while cooking or cleaning or listening to the radio and you've taken that away from them.
I hope someone from the company sees this post and thinks about a solution and reflects on my mother working to prepare lunch for my father in silence because she can't understand how to make the "radio" work again. It would be different if I was there to help them but I'm not. And it just makes me sad. Please think of the lives that have been disrupted and fix this problem.

I'm the dev of Narwhal 2 for Reddit, which is a third party iOS app for Reddit. I just released the 4th update of 2024, which has a bunch of new features, which I'm hoping many of you will like. As always, I'm looking for feedback on how to make this the best possible third party app for Reddit.

Google is a trillion-dollar company, and this is the support you get?
So, my Pixel Watch back plate fell off again. I contacted customer support, and all I got was a "Sorry, we don't have employees available at the moment." I’ve contacted them three times in two weeks and got the same reply each time: "Our representative will get back to you via email."
Seriously? First, you make a faulty Pixel Watch with a clear manufacturing defect—thousands of people are having the same issue with the back plate falling off. The least you can do is provide decent support. No wonder you're losing to Apple.
Yeah, Google offers affordable and value-for-money products, but they need to step up their support game. They don’t have proper service centres or enough support staff to answer queries. If this were 2016, I’d understand they’re new to the business, but it’s been over 8 years now and pixel is a huge brand now.
Just put those trillions of dollars to good uses.
