In this workshop I'd like to discuss examples of the uses of flags that don't represent a specific cause or nation or idea, but rather represent generalised opposition to something. Anti-Fascist flags are the most obvious in my mind, but there are many others. It's a fascinating area to see how such things work and why people choose the specific symbolism therein.
