I have had chat GTP for over a year, I am not an API person, so I just use the chats.

I am increasingly disappointed with the performance of chat GTP pro, and I would like to know how you guys like poe.com, as it has access to all of the llms.

When using ChatGPT Plus, I often need to generate very long texts or code. ChatGPT understands my request and, when it reaches its token limit, a "Continue Generating" button appears, allowing it to continue until the task is complete.

I want to try the API for some tasks and was wondering how this functionality works with the API. If I need to create something very long, do I have to send an extra message saying "continue" after its response, or is there a more convenient method? Thank you!

I'm in search of an AI tool that can essentially act as a "second brain" for me. The idea is to have a place where I can store documents and various pieces of information, which the AI can fully utilize and access whenever needed.

Custom Instruction or Open AI Playground creating your own assistent) does not work good enough.

All I need: Custom documents and so on comes first, than the knowledge of the AI.

Does anyone know of such a tool, or have recommendations for AI systems that can handle this kind of functionality? Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated!

I had a private custom GPT that was working fantastically for my purposes, and somehow the Instructions got overwritten. I think I might have accidentally typed a character in the Instructions fields without realizing it, and now the instructions are gone.

I don't suppose anyone knows of a way to view changes to or past versions of custom GPTs...? I know it's a long shot. Thanks.

Hey guys, I have a bunch of texts from different articles (annotated bibliography) and I want to construct a narrative synthesis based on these texts meaningfully, an intertwined story. What would be the best prompt? It is around 2000 words and ChatGPT tend to make it shorter, I don't very much need reduction of word number.

Which IA tool is best for analyzing graphs and data tables. In my case are just small tables and 2D simple graphs. Will gpt4o be enough? Thanks!

I am using ChatGPT to translate Mods for Skyrim / Fallout etc.

It works pretty good after 1-2 prompts, explaining a few things. But the problem is, specific locations or names still get translated wrong sometimes. Is it possible to somehow scrape the wiki (English and German comparison) and give that ChatGPT to look for the actual translation?

Do you know how to create a downloadale word file with the information generated by ChatGPT during a conversation with different responses?

If so, it would be great to know how to select which responses should be included in the file.

I am trying to get DALLE to make a cross with three arms (Tau cross) with a circle on top, sort of a like an ankh. I started with this prompt: "We are going to create a new symbol as part of world building an alien culture. The symbol will look like the mash up of a Tau cross and an ankh. The symbol will be T shaped but have a circle on the top like an ankh. The style will be a combination of Elven and Celtic cultures."

The last prompt I did was this: "Create a T symbol with a circle directly above it"

It cannot do this. The circle is either behind the the base of the T or at the bottom of the T, but it is never on top of the T. I even uploaded an image and asked it to duplicate it. Cannot do it. It adds elements, makes background images I didn't ask for, or makes 2, 3, or 4 circles but all in the wrong place.

Ideas?

I just tried a bunch of apps and they are either 1) paid 2) doesn't index your entire history 3) don't work.

I want to first provide the AI with a segment of legal explanation material, similar to a university law textbook, and have the AI respond based on this legal material. However, the legal material is interconnected, with point A and point B being closely related. Using retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) can only generate responses based on a few specified points, but the legal logic is very strong. Without fine-tuning, how can I ensure that the large model understands the meaning and logic of the legal explanation material I provide?

I've been working with both 4o and CustomGPTs for a bit doing ETL, joins and data summaries. It generally works great. I'm trying to standardize a report function where I give chat written instructions I've worked on with Chat and a data file. It can do the analysis and the writing just fine, but not consistently. It's like working with a smart but lazy teen at times. They do a great job once, but will cut corners if you ask them to repeat it. We are working on an API solution but I don't know if that will resolve the issue. Has anyone else had success with this.

I didn't know you could dictate your prompts in ChatGPT (through the mobile app)

To our ChatGPT whiz out here, I'm just wondering how we could use this feature for our team.

For context, we're a team of sales agents. After we have the initial meeting with the client, we gather the campaign details and fill out a form to brief our pitch deck design team. This part is quite time-consuming as we need to fill out these fields with as many details as we can.

Now, we wanted to use ChatGPT's voice recognition feature so the agents can just dictate the brief while for example driving or something. Sounds very promising but I was wondering how can we do that?

Ideally:

1. Agent dictates the campaign details to chatgpt

2. ChatGPT analyzes the campaign details and answers the briefing form on behalf of the agent

3. Agent can now go back to their computer and copy the responses from ChatGPT to the briefing form

Hope this makes sense. Is this something we can do? Appreciate your help!

I recently purchased ChatGPT APIs for $10 and I'm looking to understand how it relates to accessing ChatGPT-4o (ChatGPT-4). Specifically, I'm wondering:

1. Does my current API subscription allow me to use ChatGPT-4o?

2. If not, do I need to subscribe separately to ChatGPT-4o?

3. If I subscribe to ChatGPT-4o (ChatGPT Plus), will I also have access to the APIs, or do I need to maintain both subscriptions separately?

I'm a bit confused about the different tiers and what's included with each. Any clarification or insights would be greatly appreciated!

Just got my bonus from work and I’m keen to try new subscriptions to compliment my existing ChatGPT+ subscription. ChatGPT+ helps with all my writing needs, especially with all the custom GPTs I’ve made to support my work tasks and writing projects.

I’m keen on trying out Claude Pro to explore using their Sonnet. The new Projects Tab makes me want to replicate my Custom GPTs to explore the output.

Another platform is Midjourney. I’ve never really dabbled on Image development and with the recent developments on documenting custom style references it might be helpful for my marketing job.

Would love to get any recommendations on GPT subscriptions to try. Curious and keen to try different models and services.

I often see people saying, - and even chatgpt4 saying - that the cutoff date is Sep 2021 but with information until July 2023 (that's according to GPT4 itself)... But if the knowledge cut-off date is that, how come, when I ask it to comment on events that have happened today or recently, say "What was the UK GDP in May 2024", it is able to answer perfectly?
