I'm fairly new to listening to podcasts and I've only finished Sherlock & Co, the Magnus Archives, and Malevolent. Looking for something new, anything including paranormal/mystery/horror elements. I'm very specific about voices and strangely find American accents very irritating, but it's difficult to find one without an American main character.
Dedicated to the works of H.P. Lovecraft, this is your stop for all of his outstanding works and weird fiction in general!
I recently finished BBC lovecraft investigations. Looking for more episodic podcast stories i can listen to.
Preferabley lovecraftian/cosmic horro. But horror in general works too
I alrrady know of old gods of applichia.

안녕하세요 여러분 ^^
It hasn't been long since I joined this subreddit and it hasn't really been very long since I made the determination to watch a lot more of Korean drama. Anyhow, I'd introduce myself and the podcast show in a bit.
I'm a Korean language enthusiast before I started watching Korean dramas and I currently have a TOPIK Level 4 certificate. It's not really much, but I'm spending more time engaging with the language via K-drama these days. And while doing so, I decided to launch a podcast that fuses K-drama commentary and language learning. And so the creation of my podcast show called - .
The format of the show is still very experimental, but right now what I'm doing is like this:
-
first half of the show - commentary about the K-drama
-
second half of the show - discussion of some interesting and new vocabulary/phrases from the drama
Being new to the niche is quite tough and being a 20 sumth guy talking about k-drama seem challenging.
Anyhoo, sharing this here and hoping to hear your thoughts about what I'm doing and how I can make it better.
Also, I'd love to get to know more people who are both into K-drama and the language.
Lots of love to all of you :D

"I wanted to share the story of how my baby father faked his death..." Them's channel changin' words! Well, actually, the vocal countdown preceding those words double as a countdown to changing the channel, but (unfortunately) I can't always reach the remote in time.
I mean, it just makes sense. Daredevil might just be the most popular blind character in fiction, so it's kind of a shame blind people can't enjoy his comics or series in the same way sighted people can. I haven't actually listened to them, but I've heard about a recent Wolverine audio drama podcast, and a Fantastic Four radio show from the '70s. A Daredevil show in the same vein should be a given, right? Maybe somebody has already done it and I just don't know, but if not, feels like a missed opportunity.

I came across a sci-fi audio drama. It took place on modern day earth but deep deep in the ocean on a research base from a private corporation. It had a female lead scientist who lost her daughter and that’s why she’s down there to escape that. One of her coworkers (Edmund?) went crazy and tried to blow up the research center but failed and hung himself in a jail cell back on mainland. He left a gigantic clue to how to open an unopenable gate/door that the vessel was researching to try and open.
It also has an AI that is part of the facility that helps the research lady and her skeleton crew that just got taken away from her. She doesn’t get along well with the guy in charge down under. And someone who works for the corporation that funds the vessel came down for evaluation and is trying to do a couple things like who to pin the blame for the almost blown up vessel but also to evaluate if the research lady is worth keeping because little progress was made in 11 months.
Thanks for reading a small essay to help me find a podcast I should’ve saved so I didn’t lose it.
EDIT: I FOUND IT! It’s called “Derelict” by Night Rocket Productions. Thanks again for all the help guys!

These very annoying women have clearly bought all of Pluto’s advertising in an effort to drive me totally bananas!
Apparently, these ladies aren’t even working together anymore. Unfortunately, I still have to hear this commercial referencing some lady’s dad getting a neighbor pregnant and some lady not being intimate with her husband for six years like 500 times a day!! 🙄
NO MORE!! So extremely annoying!! I have to mute them or turn off the tv now; it’s become too much.
Anyone else feeling harassed by this never ending trashy ad?

Hey! I am a school shooting survivor, and I’ve just published an audio drama podcast about the aftermath. I wrote and directed , and the entire podcast was constructed during the pandemic! That means none of the actors recorded in the same room. Foreward was created by myself, 70 actors, 2 editors, and 2 composers.
has already hit the “Top Charts” benchmark for fiction on .
I’d be honored if you were willing to give it a listen:
Let me know what you think!
Thank you!
