Several Quest games are currently running 80-90% off promotions, presumably to get sales up and get more visibility on the store page. Finding these codes has been a bit of a process, so I'm trying to collect them here. Obviously I make absolutely no guarantees that the codes still work by the time you redeem, but as of this post I had personally used many of them successfully. Anyway, here we go:

Well, after a little less than a month later with the Quest 2, I am totally all-in on the Vr experience. That said, it left me wanting more…and more was in the Quest 3. All I can say is WOW. The difference in the lenses alone are worth the cost. Also have those more precise IPD adjustments is a massive improvement. It really does feel like the day I first put glasses on a decade ago (in my 40’s now) and ‘saw in HD’ for the first time.

Anyways…that is all. Now back to slaying zombies, flying the skies in PCVR, and watching YouTube.

EDIT: Well, note to anyone - do not adjust the headset depth for your glasses. This thing is terribly designed, and now is suddenly the button stopped pressing. Thankfully got it on Amazon. Return time :(

“Sources close to Android Central have revealed that Sony is making deep cuts to funding for VR games. While I'll paraphrase for anonymity, my source was told that there will be very few opportunities for VR game development at Sony going forward.

To back that up, another source informed me that only two PSVR 2 games are in development at Sony. Given the state of the games industry with constant layoffs and studio closings, I don't exactly feel confident that even these games will ever see the light of day if Sony continues on its current trajectory.”

Just a little public service for those who don't know or haven't been following all the other sales this year: Meta Sales are user-specific, and are hidden from many users/accounts. In order to take advantage of sales if this applies to you, you'll have to create a 2nd account and gift your main account the games.

No idea why they do it this way, but it has been the case for every sale in 2024 at least (and maybe further back, not sure). Support also has no idea why, they'll just give a generic answer of "some sales are targeted" which is obviously nonsense when they are advertising the summer sale to everyone.

Hope this helps! My main account sees 0 games on my wishlist on sale. The fake account I created sees about 15 (out of 25 or so) on sale.

TLDR: (realization) pcvr is legitimately amazing with q3 on a great pc setup, there is no reason the psvr2 won’t be able to achieve the same or better results with the adapter

Having gone through psvr1, vr2 and quest 3 on pc, I’m definitely willing to invest in the experience. My quest 3 experiences have been “fine” but not what the internet has everyone believing. My pc was older but still very capable of vr gaming, or so I thought.

This weekend I upgraded to a 4080 super, 7800x3d and ddr5 ram. The jump in my total experience justified the near $2000 worth of upgrades I had to complete. My stutters, inconsistencies, tracking anomalies, gone.

Now to why I want this in the psvr community,

The quest has the lenses and maybe better tracking, that’s it! The lenses are single-handedly the most talked about feature when discussing pcvr gaming. Yes, half life Alyx legitimately looked as good as Red Matter 2 with this setup, as a “real” game and not just a showcase, but it still felt washed out, it needed the colors, the darks.

There is a lot of skepticism of the psvr2-pc adapter and even with its seemingly absent features, the psvr2 should be able to achieve at least the same results minus the lens sharpness. THAT has me reeling in excitement because if any of the features become available, HRD, DFR, Dynamic Haptics, that experience will skyrocket.

Anyway, I’m more than excited for August, can’t wait. Happy gaming everyone!

My son keeps getting banned for cheating when he is absolutely not cheating. He serves the ban, plays again for a week, and another ban comes saying he was cheating. We appeal and get an automated response claiming they are totally thorough and couldn't have possibly banned inappropriately.

They go as far as to say they can't even give further details other than you need to follow the guidelines. What are we supposed to do? I'm ready to do a charge back on our credit card.
