I created a new Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance Dot Matrix shader

I'm a huge fan of the handheld/gameboy and handheld/gameboy-pocket shaders. They really capture the look and feel of the original dot matrix Game Boy display. But I wished that it supported color. So I created a few new versions of this shader that are color optimized. The final effect is really whimsical and nostalgic. It looks especially great on new handheld emulation devices.

All of these shaders are in the handheld folder. Update your RetroArch shaders from Main Menu > Online Updater to download them. Right now they are slang only, but I am working on a glsl version.

Here's how they look. Be sure to zoom in to see the pixel grid properly. These will look better on your handheld gaming device. I go over the first one in a video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vOXuQf66tvI&t=5s

Let me know what you think and what feedback you have. I have loved using these over the last few months and want more people to know about them.

Thoughts on swerve drive professionally.

So I’m at Disneyland right now, and I’ve realized that some of their newer rides (rise of the resistance, mickeys run away railway, and Luigi’s rollickin’ roadsters) use a swerve drive base, or something like unto it. I first noticed when riding run away railway and with it being trackless, a lot of the movements just felt like what I see from a swerve drive, so the next time I rode it I looked at the base and saw the wheel spinning just like a swerve drive. Looked into it and I couldn’t find anything about the specific drive base, but the system uses RFID pucks in the ground to guide the ride vehicles.

I was wondering what people’s thoughts Were on swerve drives in a professional setting? And what other potential uses they could have.

Whole home Generac quote from costco

I went through Costco to get a quote for a whole home Generac Generator. They recommended a 24kw generator. On the Generac website, this goes for about $6600. They wanted a total of $15,000. For the whole job including the generator. $8400. Seems like a lot of money for the installation. Is this the norm? (I live in WI)

RE: Spotify remote controller

After the last post, many have you have been interested on this cool thingy.

SO, Ive decided to spend some serious time on it and actually make it a cool open source project!

The design is a bit more mature than last time, and currently looks like this:
